Had a lovely stay. The executive room was spacious and clean. I asked for a twin room but it was made up as a double, a quick call to Reception and housekeeping came and changed it. Could have done with a fridge in the room. The safe was locked and no information how to open and use it. Called reception and a staff member came to the room to show us. Food excellent. Staff friendly. Only thing that let it down was check in. All we were told was our room number. Wasn't informed that we had to book a time for breakfast etc, wasn't told where the restaurant or spa was and what times we could use it. No information given about the hotel at all which was disappointing.

We booked this weekend as a birthday treat as the spa and treatments appealed to us both.
The room was basic but had everything you needed. The shower was awful so we used the spa showers as they had decent pressure on them. The room looked clean but wasn't clean clean on closer inspection. I wouldn't normally be so picky but we spent a lot of money and expected to get what we paid for. If you are a weekend guest make sure you book in for the spa and thermal suites as they don't tell you this at reception and you will miss out just go directly to the spa and book. The staff are all really nice friendly and helpful. Take a £1 coin for the lookers and some sliders. Don't pre book evening meal not worth the money the bar food looked better and was better priced we were again expecting better for the money paid. If you have booked a treatment make sure they give you a free robe to use other wise will cost you £5 none refunded. Should be aiting in your room had to go and ask for one. The infinity pool over looks a carprk and now new build houses 🤷 not the best view I must say. Won't stay again still had a lovely weekend just expected more for what we paid. If you have a treatment ask for Sam she is amazing!

Amazing hotel would definitely recommend. Clean modern rooms ,spa facilities although you need to book in advance as they are usually full on weekends. On site pub , restaurant , hotel bar and small village shops so there is plenty to do while your here. The once lovely views have been ruined by a new housing estate so there isn’t much to see from the thermal suite but apart from that it’s a lovely hotel and we enjoyed it.

Had a nice stay at the hotel got a seal but this stay was a good example of you get what you pay for.
The spa is lovely although there isn't anywhere to get a drink etc..
Don't be fooled by the pictures of the room on the website. They are quite dated and the pictures don't reflect the room types.
The restaurant is really nice and the food was fabulous.
The staff are lacking a bit in customer service. Upon check in we weren't given any information or directions to the spa. No information about breakfast or dinner. Just given a room key and sent on our way. The spar stuff wete the same no instructions or anything its almost felt like I had two heads at some points. I feel like a better welcome and guide to the facility's would have really changed our experience. I think the staff would benefit from some extra customer service training. I wouldn't recommend to friends or family tbh pay the bit extra for a much better service.

Lovely hotel with great facilities.
We stayed one night, had dinner in the Courtyard restaurant and breakfast there in the morning.
The room we stayed in was a little bit dated but apart for that everything was perfect. All the staff were very nice and helpful, the facilities in great condition. The food was lovely. We used the spa in the morning which was also great, well maintained to a high standard.
I definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway and we will come back!

This was our 3rd time staying at the hotel.
It's on a lovely complex and the staff are all welcoming and there's a friendly vibe throughout.
The grounds are clean and tastefully old fashioned with nice cobbles to walk across to see the shops and to travel to rooms.
The rooms themselves are dated apart from the bathrooms but are cosy. We upgraded to an executive cottage and a little gutted we did. Main reason was that the bed which on the website is described as a king bed was two singles clamped together and whilst this is no issue the problem was it had two single mattresses bonded together by sheets but each had a thick rim around them which when meeting in the middle dug in your body. Other than that the glass bottle of water, robes and chocs on arrival were a nice touch. The entrance to the building we stayed in was a bit of an eye sore but I'd imagine this would be rectified in the near future.
The spa is great with a pool, a range of rooms in the thermal suite and a fantastic hydro pool which is half outdoor. Gives a great tranquil feeling, we went in around 3pm on a Sunday in January and it was jam packed, I suppose this was due to the hotel being busy and probably a lot of people's new year resolutions that have kicked in, popped back in next morning after 8am and it was quiet and and tranquil.
The beer at the bar and restaurant is great and the food is of high quality. This goes for the breakfast too. We also pre-book dinner and the past 2 times was chuffed with the two course menu but this time it had changed and wasn't as appealing so went for the steak with a £10.95 each supplement which is rather excessive for a 10oz sirloin.
I do recommend going because it is a great place, I think we'll leave it a good few months before going back just to give it time for some stuff to change.

Nice, comfortable place to stay.
Rooms are spread out in a big complex.
Reception staff would make your arrival a better experience if they escorted you to your room.
Rather than only offering a verbal guide.
A badly signed treck across the rain drenched garden dragging suit cases took the edge off our experience.
Service was good.
We thought our booking included breakfast but it didn't.
Maybe Booking dot Com need to make it clearer.
