Great location, terrible food and service
Great location, room was comfortable and quiet
Staff service at front desk when checking in failed to give directions to drive to the room or set up ability to charge to the room as requested. Breakfast staff had to be asked multiple times to get tea and coffee and take our order, dinner in Drop Inn was terrible (fish that was mostly batter in fish and chips)

Me and my friend stayed at Dunkenhalgh everything was amazing from check in to check out. Spa,food , service and facilities. Staff was very polite and professional. A big thanks to Sam at the main desk. Who shared Dunkenhalgh history and showed us two historic rooms and helped with our luggage.

First visit to Dunkenhalgh hotel, room was big and bed was comfy. Nice grounds and well maintained facilities , special thanks to semoyal who made our stay pleasant .

Very tasty food, though waitress service was a little slow we had an elderly waiter much better. Starter of olives could have done with the addition of olive oil and some french bread slices in addition to the olives but the rest of the food was great. Room comfortable and well presented.

Had a tooth extraction today, my dentist was wonderful! Made me feel very comfortable and he was extremely compassionate and understanding! I'm at the verge of losing all my upper teeth, having only 3 left and now down to 2. I'm generally very embarrassed about my teeth due to many issues but today I didn't feel judged which was huge!
Very grateful for this, my overall experience as always was great, not forgetting the receptionist and dental nurse practitioners who are also amazing!
