Fabulous stay, very clean and great service. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, especially Julie and Irene. Lovely breakfast and the service in the hair salon was brilliant. Will definitely be back

It's just all a bit tired, and need of some TLC. There were problems with the door lock cards, then the room phone wouldn't work, so a room swap was needed. And the charges at the bar were a bit steep. Breakfasts OK though.

Great service, rooms a little outdated and small but perfectly clean. Daily room service 5mins drive from a huge retail park with shops, cinema and lots of places to eat

Just like to say how I was looked after whilst having a business meeting in the lounge area. Ordered coffees and was very well looked after by Irene. She is a credit to the hotel. Thanks Irene, Andy.

Due to a last minute booking, we were given an accessible room. The shower and bathroom furniture were in good condition and seem appropriate to someone with mobility issues. The room itself was spacious enough. However, the carpet was stained and the decor tired. Additionally, the view from the window (which had no privacy screen other than the curtains) left a lot to be desired and the lack of AC was keenly felt, with little ventilation available through the window. The fans we obtained from reception were small and very noisy.

Was disappointed that they closed the indoor pool area in Feb of this year 2025, but still advertising it on the website.

Had a lovely stay on Sun night - 24th/25th Aug due to the excellent customer service provided by Irene in the bar area. She was so friendly and welcoming, alway's on hand to help and happy to chat and make sure we were happy - she made our stay

Service excellent. Room was tired. There was a blown too window which requires replacelment. The over bath shower is very weak. The sealant along the bottom\floor of the bath require renewing. On the plus side the beds are comfortable and the room is clean. The breakfast is a buffet style breakfast with a full English, toast, cerial and continental, so all is well there. Overall I know that the superior rooms have been revampec, so maybe you had best spend extra. Outside is where I have the main gripe, as the hotel is used for weddings I was astounded by all the empty cans, bottles and cigarettes ends all over the path leading to the rear door. Also the gardens could really have someone give them the attention they really could benefit from.
