Staff warm friendly and helpful .
Breakfast plentiful and hearty
Evening meal varied in its choice .
Staff in restaurant were polite and efficient even when dining srea was full with a coach party. .
Pool area was clean and a nice feature of hotel .

Didn't stop in the hotel. We only used the spa. The staff are friendly and we had a great massage. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and they catered for my wife's food allergy brilliantly. The food was excellent.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area again…
The staff was helpful at every stage of our stay and deserve a lot of credit. The cleanliness and appearance of the hotel is great with lots of open spaces to sit outside and relax. The rooms we had were well done and maybe recently refurbished.
The only fault I could mention is that there seems to be a lot of small details that are overlooked here which I wouldn’t expect from a chain hotel.
For example there was only shower gel in the bathroom and not a bar of soap to wash our hands. Also, there was no tray in the shower to place the shower gel so I had to leave it on the floor which wasn’t very convenient.
The second room I had for the children lacked a phone which wasn’t ideal for us to communicate room to room…

Love this hotel, granted it needs a revamp but the food is good quality an the staff where lovely, its in the most beautiful location surrounded by wild life!

Lovely place to stay, lots of character. The staff were absolutely lovely! We had a surprise chocolate fruit and cake plate for our anniversary - Amazing gesture!

Good location with parking. Lovely place. They upgraded our room before which got there which is nice, however most of the rooms are at the far end of the building so there is a lot of walking involved! The spa is lovely however only the pool was open due to all the steam and sauna rooms being shut for builders work. Would ho here again and recommend.

I was reluctant to stay at the hotel and how wrong I was when I arrived. The room was clean and well furnished. The shower was powerful, and this for me is important when staying away at a hotel. The grounds are small in comparison to other country hotels I have stayed at, but still plenty of walking space. Parking outside the reception area. One down point is some of the staff in the food areas can be over personal and gaining laughs from other guests at other tables, which is not fun when you have a simple request. This I guess is a popular option for some guests.

Visited here very briefly take enquiries about their Spa & beauty package's available for future bookings. On arrival Reception staff were unable to advise but did promptly give us directions towards the Spa building, once there we were greeted by many staff, it was quiet. Emails given with sufficient information we required, the Spa's itself are under improvement due to be ready soon July. We were encouraged to have a look at 2 pool's, very inviting indeed. Will definitely be here in a couple of months for our pamper day's.
