Hotel looked nice from the outside. We felt the reception staff were a bit rude; they tried to charge us for a room we had already paid for when we asked to add breakfast on and were not hugely apologetic for the oversight.
We had one of the executive rooms. The size was good and the room was fairly clean but there was an overwhelming smell of fresh paint. We had to open all windows to alleviate the smell which isn't ideal in winter. Luckily the heating was very effective so we kept that on.
Upon showering, we found that the water didn't drain quickly enough and the wet room floor filled up considerably leaving us standing in water whilst showering; not ideal.
Breakfast was good, nice amount of choice and everything was laid out clearly.
