Quirky, comfortable & good location.
Good location with interesting little shops. Lovely countryside walks & very dog friendly.
Breakfast service was good with gluten free options. Even the dog got a sausage! A little noisy at night due to an event taking place.
We felt some of the staff could’ve been more welcoming & helpful.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with its beautiful historic character, lovely facilities, and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.
What really made our stay exceptional, though, was Arica on reception. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Her warm smile, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help made us feel valued immediately. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to encounter such outstanding customer service, and Arica is a real credit to the hotel.
We will definitely be stopping again!

Stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend, which was our 2nd stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, slept very well in the big bed with lovely clean crisp sheets!
The room had everything needed, kettle, hairdryer, iron and even a fan which was appreciated.
The shower is powerful although the bathroom is dated, it was clean.
The staff are always friendly and the lovely Irene is very thoughtful and a pleasure to chat too.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from MKM Bury.
I ordered gravel on Friday and received an email saying that someone would contact me to arrange delivery. Nobody called me until Tuesday morning, when I had to call the branch myself. Only then was my delivery arranged.
During the call, I clearly asked for the gravel to be left in the garden or as close to the garden as possible. My request was completely ignored. The driver left the gravel wherever it was most convenient for him, making much more work for me.
The lack of communication and the failure to follow simple delivery instructions were very frustrating. I expected much better customer service.
I hope MKM improves its communication with customers and ensures that delivery instructions are followed in the future.

Amazing day!! Was treated to a full spa day with treatments for my 21st with my mum. The spa facilities were amazing and clean!
My treatments were done by Mia in such a beautiful treatment room with relaxing music. She did such a wonderful job and left me feeling so relaxed after my facial and scalp massage!!!

Room was gorgeous,
Spa was stunning,
Went last drop inn for our tea,
Our bartender was Joshua, lovely kind gentleman, very helpful with me being gluten free,
Very nice and chatty,
Such a credit to your team.
