I’ve just recently hosted a baby shower at the stunning Melange Restaurant. The restaurant is truly beautiful and the staff were so helpful leading up to and throughout the day. We had the afternoon tea and it was lovely and reasonably priced. I would 100% recommend this space if you are looking for a small function or if you just fancy trying the restaurant menu.. you won’t leave disappointed! Thank you to the function team at the red hall as well as the restaurant staff that served us on the day.. we had a gorgeous time! We will definitely be returning! 👶🏻🤍🫧

We booked our wedding with only 5 weeks to arrange it and nothing was too much trouble for Sharon and her staff. From the point of viewing the venue right up to the actual wedding everything was just perfect. We had 100 daytime guests and 140 evening guests and no-one had a bad word to say about anything. If we wanted to change anything or confirm anything someone was always only an email or phone call away and we always received confirmation of any changes we made - we weren’t rushed into anything and never felt pressured into doing anything we didn’t want to. The room was set out perfectly for our ceremony and the turn around of the room for our wedding breakfast and again for our evening reception went smoothly. Damo the event organiser was amazing throughout the whole day - all in all I don’t think they could have done anything more than what they did do to make our day any better. Went to a friend's wedding yesterday at the red hall hotel,and was most impressed.the hotel is lovely,the room was very nice ,the food was delicious,the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much,would highly recommend for a wedding,or a night away .

We spent a few days here & we couldn’t fault it. Staff are friendly, helpful & attentive. Food was excellent & generous. Room at the rear was nice & quiet, clean & tidy. Breakfast was freshly cooked & with a nice variety of choices. Plates were always hot & food was served promptly. Restaurant is comfy & tastefully decorated. Will definitely be back!

Reasonably comfortable room with good food
I had the Tiger prawns to start - not great flavour tbh, very forgettable
Sea Bass for main - very nice and well cooked. Worth having!!
Creme brulee for dessert - very good, with some home made shortbread

we visited the restaurant yesterday as a family group 6adults 2children only us and one other table with 2 adults the food was great quality and reasonable price my only criticism it wasn’t hot enough james who looked after was excellent will return

Called in over the weekend for lunch.
The service was quick, the food was delicious,hot and tasty. There wasn't a big menu, but there is something for everyone. Will definitely call again in the future.

My husband and myself have just returned from a short break at Red Hall for my birthday. We have stayed there before but this time we chose one of the upgraded bedrooms and what a difference the new owners are making with their refurbishments. The dining room has also been revamped, it is now lighter and much better laid out. Lovely staff, breakfasts are excellent, we will return next time we go to Bury.
