Visited on a Saturday afternoon on our way to the theatre. Was a lovely find and the walk to the restaurant is actually nice too through the town. The staff were friendly and the food was nice. My son asked for extra gravy and it was no problem for the kitchen and manager. The surroundings are nice and I can imagine it is a good atmosphere in the evening.

Great course, hilly, so recommend a buggy for the older player, the greens were absolutely great and this challenging course is a must for any golfer. Also the club house staff are really friendly and made our society of 16 very welcome. Hope to visit again soon.

First time playing here and mostly impressed for the price. Course in good condition, green speed rather variable but again good condition. The layout is interesting and a good challenge with lots of undulation. Quite a lot of blind drives, marker post locations OK if a little conservative. Staff seemed a bit standoffish but to give them credit it was a very hot day and the site was busy with a party. Recommended.

Played there yesterday what a great course.The staff were brilliant and friendly and couldn't do enough for us.Top class breakfast.All our members said put it down for next year.Great value.

A fantastic experience! Our golf society had a wonderful day thanks to the great condition of the course and the friendly superb service from the bar staff and caterer (Chris and Debbie - I think). Sue from the club also looked after us really well, as did the Pro who welcomed us on arrival and showed us where to go. The greens were perfect with no bobbles or worn patches and were consistent throughout. The course is no pushover and a good but fair challenge. Playing here without knowing the layout is a disadvantage due to a few holes with doglegs where you are not sure what club to take or how much of a risk going for a Tiger line!. We would definitely come back again to play the course but mostly to experience the fantastic welcome and service from the staff.

Played today 08/08/2025 what a hidden gem, course was in fantastic condition there not a bad hole on the course. Only a short course but don’t let that fool you! Really friendly staff and members will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic condition and amazing views even have a wind turbine which is used as a marker. Quite hilly so be ready for a good walk. I played in 25 degree heat so that definitely played a part. Some real thinking holes wish is not used driver on a few which i did and I was getting loads of run with the ground. Hidden gem gets thrown about a lot with golf courses but this definitely is reminded me of Windermere golf club at times

Lovely course and great members!
On arrival from the Pro in the shop to a member who give us a tour and introduced us to the bar and kitchen staff everyone was so friendly!
The lady Captain and Lady President made an extra effort to make it a great experience for all of us and after the round when the club Secretary was moved from her table to make room for my group we all had a great bit of 'banter'
If the course didn't bring you back the members attitude would!
Some great golf holes and lots of fantastic members who are a credit to your club!!
( final bit of advice don't take on the 17th it cost me the match🤔)
