The newer part of the hotel was good, the staff were friendly and efficient.
The location was ideal for my purpose. The staff were efficient and friendly.
Cannot comment on spa facilities as I didn’t use them. The room I was given needs upgrading, furniture dated, carpets in need of a good clean, burn marks from an iron on the carpet.
The curtains were not badly hung -wrong length on one window and badly hung on the other.
Had to get maintenance staff to sort out basin tap in bathroom - no pressure on cold water, just a trickle, however this was rectified.
A couple of days my room was not serviced during my stay.

Very nice accommodation but didn’t spend much daytime there as I was in Bolton for family reasons
Nice room and bathroom
Confusion over the allocation of my room. Then upon entry of room l was greeted by a young couple having sex. Manager got involved and allocated another room.

Brilliant hotel with everything a family could need.
It has everything you need. We stopped over on our way up to Glasgow and immediately booked for our return journey. It’s amazing to be able to use the pool with our 3 year old at anytime and we were made to feel very welcome with our child and dog. The food and facilities were incredible.
No negatives.

Handy for business.
It felt a bit soulless. Very annoying online ordering system for food which wouldn't work for me. Staff were very helpful taking my "Face to face" order in the end.

Would stay again!
Food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. Room was really nice and clean. Spa pool was lovely and warm and rest of the spa was really nice
Room service food was cold and expensive for what you got. Spa was very overcrowded.

Lovely atmosphere, I liked the little village area and spa, good choice for breakfast, staff were friendly.
Took over an hour for a pizza. Pillows were hard, but that's a personal thing as a side sleeper.

Lovely and will stay again if travel to the area.
Gorgeous old buildings.
It was raining really heavily and not all area are covered. I got wet going from one area to another. If it hadn’t have been raining, that would have been fine.
