COVIDでの制限が発生している中での出張での滞在でした。
宿泊施設があるだけでもありがたい状況下での滞在でした。
チェックインはフロントがカバーでプロテクトされている以外は特に通常時とは変わりません。
ただ、レストランやバーなどは閉まっているので、食事関係は困難。
チェックイン時に出張許可証の提出が必要なので、書類関係は事前の準備が必要です。
ルームサービスは種類も少なく、扉の前の床に置かれている状態なのでいまいち。
朝食も同様で種類も少なく、調理される物もないので(ヨーグルトやチョコなど)残念。
ルームキーピングもないので自分で対応する必要あり。
非常時なのでしょうがないですが、通常時より不便。
部屋は広く、シャワーもお湯が出ます。
ネット環境はいまいち速度が遅い状態でした。

Going through a revamp which we weren't aware of. There was nowhere to get any kind of food or drink as all bars are closed being done up. Our room had new carpet, curtains and mattress but the taps were very very loose in bathroom and the loo did the flush, seemed strange as rest of room was finished.

Lovely staff. Big impact due to Covid/refurbishment at present and doing their best under the circumstances (so adjust your expectations accordingly). Been many times before Covid and enjoyed the full spa treatments, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy rooms, etc plus great dining, amazing breakfast.
By comparison there was just the swimming pool and food served to the room. The pool was still warming up and was out of use on the day we arrived but we managed a quick swim the next morning. We ate out in the evening. The breakfast was closer to food served on a plane (nothing like the previous breakfast experience) but they are clearly doing the best they can under the circumstances. Great to see them adapting and trying to get things up and running. Not so sure about the redecorating, for example painting over the wood finish lockers without sanding down left them sticking and new paint coming alway showing the old wood finish, the bathroom door in the room was stiff to open due to extra layer of paint. Shame the refurb may actually reduce the quality of finish due to trying to create a more modern look with a lick of paint.
Now charging £10/24hrs for parking although that has been suspended short term, apparently due to camera capture issues. Seems a shame to separate out the parking charge for the stay.
I think the prices are lower than they used to be but not certain as we typically added on spa treatments and evening meal.
Wishing them all the best, we hope to go back but will perhaps will wait until things are up and running a little more.
