Nicely placed hotel within easy walking distance of the town centre , car park is a bit small but we always found a space. Room was very clean only criticism was the shower setting was temperamental couldn't quite get the right water temperature either too hot or cold, the rest of the family staying with us did not have this problem in their rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed overnight on way to coast. Reception was excellent and well noted my Gold Card.
Room was on 6th floor with good views of the city. Very comfortable although furnishings a bit dated. Bathroom absolutely fine with good shower and bath.Beds and pillows were super comfortable.
Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was "steak week" with very good medium prices. The steaks were perfectly cooked to our requirement and the staff were really nice.
Same can be said for the breakfast with big choice of hot and cold foods.
Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Very good value for the money.

The staff were all very nice from reception to the Restaurant. I had room service my 1st night and it was very nice and a very large portion. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was really nice. The bed was really comfy. Room a little bit dated but fine for the 3 nights I stayed. My only negative is I was overlooking the bus station and the noise of the constant announcements from the station and the traffic I found it very very hard to sleep. Also through the night there was a noise like a generator not sure if there was next to my room as my room 312 was the last on the landing next to a cupboard and stairs. As I've been on a course when I'm back in August I'm not sure I will stay again as I need my sleep.

We stayed at this hotel during a visit to Preston for a special occasion. The room was great and staff were excellent. We even got a free bottle of fizz delivered to the room which was greatly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again as location was great for our needs as only a short walk to the city centre.

A weekend Coach Trip took us to stay at this particular hotel overnight for D/B/B. Very impressed with the cleanliness of hotel and our rooms were first class, no complaints there! The Staff, where all exemplary, which always makes a difference, they were all so pleasant, even when, dozens and dozens of folk descended on them for both dinner and breakfast! It was chaos, queueing and waiting for tables....However, we agreed it was only probably like that when coach trips turned up! Evening meal was o.k. but breakfast was excellent, with something for everyone's palate and plentiful...well worth the wait! I do believe that something should be done about the organisation at mealtimes as although we took it in our stride, others didn't and were becoming irate. Staff dealt with it all admirably..Well Done to all of them

Stayed for one evening whilst working in Blackburn - a quick and easy 30 min drive away.
The hotel is an average Holiday Inn - all perfectly sufficient. The staff were very friendly, and the room service dinner very nice.
Decor is of the older Holiday Inn standard - so could do with an update. But it’s fine for a nights stay.

The service in the restaurant was great, the food not so much. Really was expecting more but the waiter and I got on really well. He was a lovely Philippine lad called Lee. But the rooms were nice and tidy. Ample amounts of everything. Not a bad stay. Food was just lacking.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on Sunday 24 June 2018. Situated right in the centre of Preston with free car parking. Check in was very quick and was allocated a room on the 7th floor at the end of the corridor. The room was small but very nice and clean.
Had a great nights sleep as it was so quiet. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with plenty of choice. All the staff we came in to contact with were very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I am back in Preston, as it has a fantastic location and is only a short walk from pubs, restaurants and the local market.

Rooms slightly dated, parking poor but staff very welcoming and courteous and evening meal and breakfast great. Central to Preston and right next to bus station. Not situated in the most pleasant area of the city.

Stayed for 2 nights and was disappointed to see the whole hotel, from carpets to paint to furniture to bathroom fittings was all very tired, worn. The hotel desperately needs refurbishment especially when you consider the cost per night in comparison to the local competition.
The parking out the front of the hotel is free and very limited, if you're out of luck then there is plenty opposite which is only a short walk.
On arrival the rooms air condition wasn't working & kept showing fault this was reported and resolved within the hour - apparently the aircon machinary on the roof is tempremental, continues to fault/trip out & needed a reset (another example of a 'tired' hotel)
We found the staff all very helpful & polite.
Best part of the stay was the continental & English breakfast which was perfect.
