The room was lovely and clean but hard to locate, the signage was a bit vague. The hotel and grounds are lovely.

Beautiful Little Village for the Kids to Scoot About
Was in the more dated side of the hotel but was still lvery clean and comfortable.
Restaurant, With a child with ADHD he knocked a, drink over, had a meltdown, was very over stimulated but the bar staff and waiters were lovely and understanding. Although I understand for adults wanting to relax and it is quite hot, my kids really really wanted to try the infinity pool, maybe have a set time for an hour with a warning for parents/carers to check temperature for them first.

Loved the bars, swimming pool and outdoor area for the kids to play on. Very family friendly! The kids had a great time. Beds really comfortable.
No air in the rooms whilst it was warm weather, needed to be able to open the windows better or some air con would of been nice.

Great facilities and staff that were really helpful
Staff always happy to help with a smile. Nice rooms - simple but clean and comfy; lovely spa and reasonable sized pool.
Very kindly was offered a discounted breakfast rate as I was paying for 6 people. Ate in the clocktower restaurant. Food was not up to expectations. eg Waiter explained duck would be cooked pink (which is great) but then came overcooked. Waiter mis-entered the pudding order, it was rectified but just a bit disappointed.

Clean and pleasant stay. Good pillows, which is rare in hotels like this. Not much in terms of location, but it was convenient for us.

Emma listened to exactly what we wanted from our summer holiday… private pool, close to bars and restaurants but still authentic Greece. she provided us with a selection of options so I was able to make the final decision.
Private transfers and all check ins done for us. We even got some great travel straps for our cases. Emma made it really easy to book and we had a fabulous holiday our hotel was amazing.
Never been to Parga before and we would highly recommend.

I personally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and historically interesting Hotel in Blackburn, it made an excellent choice in comparison to the bland Hilton I'd stayed in the night before for twice the price and none of the comfort, surroundings, service and beautiful bedroom (our room was upgraded too).
The House/Hotel is 800 years old so some areas do need some modernisation/redecoration however when I personally stay in an 800 year old historically interesting hotel I don't expect it to look like a Boutique hotel and don't want that either, the house/hotel is also haunted by a ghost named Lucette, we were shown around the areas of interest including The Oak Room and told all about the Previous Owners by a lovely & Informative member of staff named Mark who was genuinely interested in where he worked and the history and took interest in sharing the History & stories with us - what a delightful change - a member of the team interested enough to take time to share the history with us - Thank You Mark, very much appreciated.
Parking is fantastic and immediately outside the house on a gravelled driveway so very easy access.
Unfortunately we didn't make it to breakfast as overslept but I'm sure it would have been wonderful from what we saw in the rEstaurant the night before.
