I’m so pleased I chose to come to the party night here, all I can say is WOW. The atmosphere was so festive and warm and all the staff so accommodating. The bar greeting area prior to sitting down was lovely I particularly liked the fact that the function suite was separate from the main hotel and that you can also be accessed separately too if needed, I loved the space where the lobby area was too, albeit there could have been a few more chairs in here so guest could escape the louder dancing area if they wanted. There was also a lack of seating in the bar area too, maybe it’s a covid thing, but it would have been more relaxed with a few seats. The food was AMAZING! I loved that it was piping hot when it came out and totally fresh! Food was so hot it was perfect! The soup my starter was lovely, the main turkey, was so moist, I love turkey like that! And my chocolate dessert was ultimate perfection!! Then dancing and partying!

As it was during media coverage of covid getting worse I was a little cautious about attending. I spoke to Lisa the Director of Sales who reassured me that the hotel is doing everything to go above and beyond for their guests. The hospitality industry is regulated so much it is actually the safest industry. She mentioned Including all staff wearing masks and gloves, food prepared to strict guidelines, sterile areas, rooms to exceptionally high cleaning standards and tight regulations with distance for tables. We were advised to wear masks if required too. I felt really safe when visiting.

My room was fantastic too! Set close to the function room, all guests attending the function and staying were in the same wing part of the hotel, which is great! Imagine having a wedding here and all your guests can be so close is fantastic!

My room was equipped with a stunning bathroom perfect comfortable 6 foot bed, a self controller heater, fridge, robes, hairdryer, kettle and a nespresso coffee machine! Truly spoiled! I slept like a baby!

In conclusion….thanks for an amazing night! I’m coming back to use the spa facilities next time!

First room taken was difficult to find up a shady old wooden outside staircase . Then turns out that there were electrical issues. Another room sorted which looked fine but with the worst shower ever !

as we turned in the driveway such an imposing beautiful building. Easy to park, plenty of space. Lovely welcome at reception, informed to put car registration on system for payment of carpark. Walk through to room was very festive and put us both in the Christmas spirit. Room a lovely surprise, really clean, spacious and a nice outlook.
Stay was for a party night and really enjoyed the food which was hot (nice surprise - usually party nice the food is average and never hot). The ambiance was festive and fun and the waitresses kept smiling throughout.
Breakfast was really nice a good choice of hot and cold food.
Overall 5 star as I could not fault the staff, the hotel and the food. Thank you for making our stay and Merry Christmas

We stayed in a Privilege room and having stayed in another hotel the previous night we were disappointed. We had a shower room, no bath, although the was a coffee machine with 3 coffee pods and a couple of bathrooms nothing else felt special about the room. Breakfast was ok, but we walked down a featureless corridor and outside under a covered walkway and through a cold bar area, I guess it was closed, to get there. It felt like a Premier Inn.
Our previous hotel had a bathroom two or three times the size, a comfortable sofa in front of the TV and better bathrobes.

This place outranks many excellent hotels that I have stayed at. A quiet gem of a place with good food, friendly staff and a fabulous gym. We felt safe, relaxed and well looked after. Lovely refurbished room which was very relaxing. Perfect!

Back after a 2 year miss because of covid. Stayed here a few times & was pleased to see the refurb of the bar area & dining room. Lovely design & colours. Think we had a refurbed room because carpet, curtains etc looked modern. Lovely comfy bed as usual, massive telly, modern units with nice chairs & nice to have a double aspect room. However, the bathroom must of had a quick titivation with new flooring & sealant because the plug hole in the sink was grotty (wear&tear) as were the taps. Square toilet seat on a classic shaped loo also looks odd with an attitude of that will do. In my opinion little things are just as important to replace especially in a bathroom against a fancy lampshade.
Staff were very friendly & very helpful. Breakfast service from staff was very good but there was no decaf tea available & the decaf coffee was tasteless. Also same stuff in the room. Luckily, I had a sachet of Kenco on me. We had the cooked breakfast but that was let down by it not being very hot. Maybe something wrong with the warming trays that day. Quality of the breakfast was good & plenty of choice. You wouldn’t starve. In general the hotel is always clean with a team of friendly staff.

Taken advantage of a Groupon offer to stay for 2 nights including dinner on the first night.
My elderly mum was given a disabled access room which was perfect for her needs. Reception staff kindly upgraded our room so we were next door to her. It did mean that we were in the other building and there was a short undercover walk to the dining room but nothing too onerous.
Dinner in the hotel was delicious. I had the goats cheese and red onion pizza and sadly couldn't finish it 😱 needed to make room for dessert! My mum and sister both had chicken with the tandoori sauce which was perfectly cooked.
All the staff are both professional and friendly. Special mention tho to Krishana and Aziz who always made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Must also mention the lovely Sharlesh who looked after my 94 year old mum at breakfast time.
