Impressive building gardens and communal areas
Very nice staff . Excellent breakfast.
Very old fashioned furniture.Needs upgrade.
Pretty dark room, the electric heater is very old and not enough for cold nights
Excellent bed, mattress , duvet and pillows. Very comfortable
Unfortunately there was a kind of noise from a vibrating source, like a big freezer working at night, running all the time andI I had to use earplugs

Went to the Wedding open day. Very well presented, good amount of suppliers without it being overbearing. Staff were attentive and friendly and gave good, detailed information. The hotel itself was presentable if a tad unoriginal.

After a long day of travel it was really lovely to arrive at the hotel and be greeted on arrival, we had a nice beer and dinner in the restaurant, which was a pleasant experience. My room was nice and quiet, which meant that I had a good nights sleep, which was followed by an excellent breakfast selection.

First of all my name on the invoice was Mr Cooper and not Ms Cooper.I stayed in room 88 for 4 nights which was fine and then I was moved to room 22 which really I thought was a very pokey room, water stains on bathroom ceiling grouting on tiles very grubby old chipped and scratched furniture no drinking glass or plastic cup in bathroom.Quite a lot of dust everywhere. To top it all I have been overcharged £30 room 88 was at 4nights bb at £110 per night and room 22 for 5 nights at £75 per night does not come to £845.On 2 occasions I did not have breakfast due to banging doors and emptying bottle skips at silly hours waking me up and then oversleeping. Not a happy customer.I booked this hotel because I have worked there in the 80s and 90s as Banqueting and Bar Manager for 12 years.More like a staff bedroom.

A very pleasant relaxing night away, with superb service and excellent quality food. I had booked the spa time together package for me and my daughter and we loved it, from the spa treatments, to the pool, the restaurant, the friendly staff and the privilege room, which was spacious, clean and well equipped as well as being very peaceful. The bed was excellent, we had a great night's sleep. The evening dinner was superb, the food was top notch and the service excellent. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice for all tastes. All areas of the hotel are well staffed, managed superbly and very clean.

We stayed in the executive suites which we were both happy with although one slight downfall the shower cubicle had a drainage smell to it. The leisure facilities were great and all the staff were very helpful throughout our stay.
