I overnighted here recently, arriving late and leaving early. It was all the things in the title. Conveniently situated for the A56/M60 but in a nice rural location. Didn't try the hotel facilities but all staff were business-like and pleasant,

This hotel is a good find, reasonably priced with good rooms. I read some negative reviews on the restaurant but still tried it. The food is ok and the service very good, if i had the time i would have gone out to a restaurant so for an overnight business trip it was fine.

Had an overnight stay here and we loved it. Delightful rooms, lovely restaurant with good food and friendly, helpful staff. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend the hotel to others, you will not be disappointed!

The room was really comfortable, made a couple of trips into Ramsbottom which we really enjoyed.

Service at breakfast wasnt the best, as my girlfriend didnt get a full breakfast, but i believe the staff were young and new

I attended a business meeting at the Red Hall this week & yet again the staff were excellent. The board rooms have great technology that worked. I've been at more expensive venues where nothing works! The warm chicken salad makes for a very tasty and healthy working lunch too. I'm not surprised that the hotel does so well for weddings as well because the staff are just great.

We visit Bury a few times during the year, in order to see our family and granddaughter. We usually stay at a Premier Inn, but decided to stay in the Red Hall Hotel this time. We stayed from a Sunday evening for 3 nights. It has a large ca park, with 5 disabled spaces for blue badge holders. The reception staff booked us in quickly, and directed us to our room number 34. There is a lift for those who cannot walk up a short staircase. Our room was halfway down the corridor, but it was very quiet and we were never bothered with noise from other guests. The room and ensuite were a good size with everything we needed; lovely fluffy towels and toiletries and a good selection of teas and coffees replenished daily. The breakfasts were cooked to order, and there was a good selection of toasts, juices and fresh fruits. It was a good move on our part, and we would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay centrally to Ramsbottom/Bury areas - it is only one hours drive from Blackpool to see the illuminations!

Spent 3 nights at this hotel and I was very pleased with it, the only down side was we had to wait a very long time for our food but when it did come it was lovely, the rooms were great and clean and the staff were friendly, Thomas the waiter was very efficient, friendly and very good at his job he should go a long way in the hotel business.

We visited this hotel for a 30th Birthday Celebration. The room which was hired was just perfect and would certainly consider it for a Celebration of my own, I would guess the room is comfortably holding between 75 - 120 people with a twinkly light dance floor and private bar are set in an alternative room.

This hotel is a few miles from where we wanted to be but I selected it on price. I would usually use a national value chain (you know the one with Lenny Henry!), but they were about £20 a room more, which easily covered the taxi fare.
Glad I Chose Red Hall because the service was better, more personal and the room was better too. Breakfast was more varied than the chains (haddock, Kippers etc not just the Full English) All in all great value.
Only advice I would give the Management is to offer a 'light bites' menu in the afternoon/early evening...why? Because people check in about 4 pm and may be out later so I think snacks or tapas would do well.

Stayed on business for one night in single room. Comfortable but a bit cramped as no side table for bed.Nice view at back of hotel over hills. Bathroom very nice but impossible to shower without a bit of spillage as screen far too small

Breakfast and bar service very good
