I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn Preston for nearly 30 days this year and wanted to share my experience.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Preston, with plenty of comfortable, well-equipped rooms that meet all the needs of a traveler.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, with weekly specials that keep the menu interesting. The service is excellent – Dyan and the rest of the team always go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and enjoy their meals.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Preston, whether for business or leisure.

Highly recommend Made In Bury. I first joined as a ticket holder to their Weekly £2000 Draw a couple of years ago. The process to get tickets was easy and every Wednesday they notify ticket holders on social media, on their website and by email who the lucky winner is. It's easy but most importantly, all proceeds go to supporting local start up businesses with interest free loans, something which they may not have been able to obtain from a typical high street lender.
Then, after setting up my own business in 2022, I joined their Business Academy and spent 9 months doing fortnightly sessions on the basics of business, from finances to branding, everything was covered to ensure a new business succeeds. I had the opportunity to meet like-minded business owners and have a pool of experienced mentors to support me. The Business Academy was integral to my success and would highly recommend to any new business, whether they think they need support or not.
Once the Business Academy year had finished, I took the opportunity to join the ladies only Brunch Club. The networking and support received has been great. I have been able to grow my business though making meaningful connections, all whilst having some fun and fantastic brunch food.
I would highly recommend using any of the Made In Bury services and look forward to working with them for the long term.

I am a part of this years class and my business has boosted massively, many things taught in this class I would of never even thought about, the main thing I got from this academy is the networking I have met so many people who have been of great help with speeding my business along and improving it, also Phill has introduced me into the business world and even changed how I approach my business for the better, for the knowledge you get and people you meet this is the deal of a lifetime I believe it’s impossible to not get a huge benefit even if it is simply meeting like minded people in a similar position and getting a mutual benefit.

I was part of the very first Business Academy Cohort and I am an official supporter of the weekly £2000 draw - because I believe 100% in supporting local, and giving back to new and aspiring businesses. I bought a Seat Leon from Fishmotors and had a mixed start, but the aftercare was excellent. A few weeks in, I had an intermittent issue with the parking sensor. They booked it in, but because the fault didn't show at the time, no issues were found. I eventually replaced the sensor myself, which fixed it.
Five months later, the gearbox broke down. I contacted them and they told me to use a garage of my choice, promising to contribute as much as possible. The gearbox cost £1,200 and the clutch was another £200. Fishmotors reimbursed me £1,000 of that total. Chris has been a helpful chap throughout the whole process. Highly recommended!

Lovely staff especially Elsie, Amy and of course Franco... Food in the restaurant was fabulous, and we really liked our spacious room... The facilities, pool, spa etc were very good and free to use, and a shoulder/back massage was £45 for half an hour.... I just sincerely hope that the poor receptionist throat gets better..😇
