Exceptional service! A massive thank you to Julia at the reception desk at the Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. Her warmth, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed. It’s rare to find staff who care so deeply about the guest experience, and she absolutely deserves five stars and top recognition from management. Highly recommended.

Brilliant stay. The spa is lovely and not too crowded. Courtney, Sara and Mia in the restaurant were amazing, a credit to the hotel. The two lads on the bar Caleb and Liam had great conversational skills and hard work ethic. Will definitely be coming back! Breakfast was also stunning

Disappointed with the Hotel lack of Help when we reached out about the room being Hot and they did nothing
We arrived during the hot weather, our room was ridiculously hot. the rooms have no air conditioning and the windows do not open more than an inch. No fans available as all were being used. Basically you pay the same as others, but don’t get the same service. First come first served. They need to prepare better for the hot weather and allow the windows to open. On check out we seen a Fan in the hallway

The room was very well appointed. Shower pressure and temperature were excellent. The restaurant was very well decorated and the food was of very high quality. The waiting and reception staff were very friendly.
