I was a little hesitant before eating here after reading some recent reviews saying the bar food wasn't very good, but my experience has been completely different.
I've eaten here twice now, having the burger on one visit and the pie and mash on another, and both meals were excellent. The food was well cooked, tasty, and great quality.
The staff have been friendly and welcoming throughout my stays, making the whole experience even better. The facilities are also a real highlight – the pool and gym are clean, well maintained, and a great addition to the hotel.
I'll definitely be staying here again and hope the hotel continues to maintain its current high standards. Based on my own experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Mercure Blackburn. It's a lovely hotel with great facilities, excellent staff, and, in my opinion, very good food.

Amazing fast and responsive service . I rang on Monday morning as I was unable to close the window . I was going to be leaving the property vacant later that day . I cannot thank the team enough who listened to my concerns , asked me to send pictures and sent a team that afternoon to fix it . Fabulous customer service . No mess. Sorted and no upselling of windows. .thank you

Sorry for the late share.
My friend and I travelled up from the South and stayed here from 12 - 15th June as we were attending a photography event nearby for the weekend.
The hotel is very boujee what with the paintings and staircase. The staff were very polite especially the restaurant staff (Sara, Mia, Courtney, Amanda & Theo) during my solo dinner evenings.
We had a slight mixup with the rooms but no problem to move from one area to another. There was a wedding event going on at the same time so I hope that all went smoothly as it looked well organized and had a beautiful cherry blossom archway too.
Thank you very much for having us there and hopefully will visit again if our photography event returns to the area.

Have been visiting family in the area and we have decided to turn it to an over night stay. Came cross this hotel and what a find it was. Great service from the moment we walked in. Kids got well looked after by the restaurant staff (thank you everyone) we all know that kids can be a handful sometimes however the staff we crossed path with were extremely helpful and served us with a big smile. Food was excellent too so for sure we will be back again

I had a wisdom tooth extraction today at Synergy Dental, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received.
Dentist Imran was absolutely amazing. Even though my tooth was complicated to remove, I didn’t feel a thing, and the extraction was completed within 10 minutes. He made the whole procedure seem effortless and kept me at ease throughout.
Beth Davies, the nurse, was fantastic. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment I sat down. She checked on me constantly, asking if I was okay every few minutes, which was incredibly reassuring, especially as it was my first time having a tooth removed or any significant dental treatment.
I would also like to thank Dentist Kashif, who took the time to explain all the aftercare instructions clearly and thoroughly, which I really appreciated.
As someone who was very nervous beforehand, I can honestly say I had an excellent experience. The whole team was professional, caring, and supportive. I would highly recommend Synergy Dental to anyone looking for outstanding dental care.
