It's an OK shop out of the way, with a factory seconds shop on the 1st floor.

We went for the vineyard tour and wine tasting experience. We were very lucky as despite a forecast of rain the sun came out just at the right time and we were able to take the short wander down to the vines and see the first mini grapes starting to sprout. (This was in early May.) There's also a really interesting sign that shows where the different grape types are planted, as well as pretty views across the fields and woods. Then we had our tasty cheese and biscuit graze boxes and three small wine samples, a sparkling wine, lemony white wine and peppery, fruity red wine. The slide show about the wine making process was presented by the farmer himself who also ran the tour. His presentation was really interesting. Similar to Clarkson's Farm, it was a no holds barred account of the trials and tribulations of modern day farming. It covered not only the wine making process but also the hoops farmers have to jump through in terms of complex paperwork and expensive equipment. The farmer had a good sense of humour and kept the room laughing and was drinking along with us too which added to the experience! So if you're on the fence about this tour, I would say it's worth booking even if just to support a working farm that's been going for over 40 years and that's putting in the effort to diversify and provide a quite unique experience in the midlands area. (I've been to other British vineyard tours and wine tastings but only down south.) After the tour, there's plenty of time to browse the shop where tastings of the wine, other alcohols, vinegars and olive oils are not just allowed but encouraged. We bought two of the wines (Fire Fox and Solo, bronze and silver rated at the London wine awards) as they were a very reasonable £10 each as well as a few different crackers, chutneys and cheeses which we enjoyed the next day so the experience continued. In summary, if you're just looking to get a little merry on wine, the main experience may not get you fully there, but there are benches with pretty fairy lights outside where you can buy very reasonably priced bottles to get the job done. But if you're looking for a unique and authentic experience where you learn about the wine making process as well as getting some delicious samples this tour is well worth it. Support local farmers and small businesses and give this tour a go!

Such a lovely surprise to find a thriving vineyard so close to home, well worth an evening of wine tasting. A friendly family run business. You can drop it to their on-site shop for lovely goodies. Watch out for the artisan market ,I will definitely be visiting it myself.

We went for the vineyard tour/wine tasting last night. What a hugely enjoyable evening! It was really interesting to see the vineyard and to have a presentation on the winemaking process. Their enthusiasm and committment to making excellent wines in Buzzard Valley were obvious. Highly recommend...both the tour and the wines!
