Booked Christmas afternoon tea party of 3 made very welcome offerd tea/ coffee. The tea was cream cheese and salmon and Turkey and cranberry sandwiches , brie in breadcrums , mini scotch eggs, mini suasage rolls parsnip crisps and pigs in blankets- cakes chocolate browni , home made batten burge , mince pies , mini chocolate muffins and squares of red velvet sponge cake served with whiskey cream . Would have liked more sandwiches as only had 4 small pasty round cutter size were really nice and maybe less cake this is my personal choice ( was able to take spare cake home ) . The pigs in blanket need more cooking as very pale and not in a blanket just small pice of ham not bacon on top and so did the mini sausage rolls. The brie was nice but needed some thing with it so i took some of the cranberry off sandwich. Very lovely staff always asking if you wanted more tea or coffee . Loved the cups and saucers and China tea pot all really well presented and layed out not rushed very relaxed just needs a bit of tweaking to make a really special Christmas afternoon tea.
