Nottinghamshire Hospice offers a free service to patients and their loved ones which aims to take care of not only the physical needs of patients but also values their emotional, spiritual and social needs. We provide support to families and close friends, both during the illness and in bereavement.

The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) is a life saving service operating all over the East Midlands and serving the people of Heanor and Ripley since 2008. Flying out of East Midlands Airport but regularly re-fueling in Ripley, the DLRAA runs entirely on donations and receives no Government Funding.
