Fabulous gardens. As university shut entrance is via the castle drawbridge, so can walk through to the tranquil gardens.<br>Castle arts gallery/shop now open with local arts, crafts and stained glass.

Beautiful gardens, lots to see but castle not open ar present to general admission - events only. Children's play & picnic area, rope maze, lots to keep the little ones entertained. Cafe and eating area.

Beautiful castle! Lovely grounds. Easy to find, ample parking, and accessible route to the castle too. It's privately owned so they only do tours on specific days, but the grounds are amazing. Little cafe, lovely kids play area, but the true beauty is walking the grounds. You can easily lose 2 hours here.
