The castle does not open till the 18th February and is impossible to get pass the guard on the road leading up to it but there is a public foot path at the side of the road that leads to the castle and let's you have a magnificent view as its a field with a hill. Lovely for a picnic.

What an amazing place to visit. Lovely architecture, history and gardens. Also there are so many stunning sculptures. The tea room is a must place.
