Medieval Festival 2021, packed with entertainment, skilled jousting and fighting, great choice of stalls and food. Stalls and entertainment for children and of course let's not forget the hard work of the marshalls and greeters. We had a wonderful time and a treat to meet the Watermill Wolves. An event that never disappoints.

What an impressive building, set in beautiful gardens and surrounded by a moat full of pink and white waterlillies. You could happily spend a good few hours here. There is a tea room and toilets but we did not use these so can't comment on them.

Went to Garden Show, quite small, but wasn't overly crowded. Lovely plants, knowledgeable people answering questions. Beautiful weather was the cherry on the cake.

The oldest brick brick building in England did not disappoint. A castle with a long and varied history. Thanks to Mrs Stone for the informative guide at the entrance for fascinating account of some of the colourful characters who have shaped the building as it is today. As it is a University you cannot go inside apart from pre arranged tours which happen now and again. There are many different parts to the gardens which have a kind of natural vibe.
