Hotel was lovely and clean . Our bedroom was very pleasant , very helpful staff. Grounds are beautiful. Would be happy to visit again .
We only booked for a single person but then I decided to join at the last minute . They waived the difference which was very nice of them. Nice to see staff turned out nicely and helpful. Would be happy to recommend . Would like to have had tissue in the room, when turning on the hot tap pump made a loud noise . Over all a good experience.

Ok so we booked the Twilight package for our anniversary for £100. You don't get robes or slippers, you can pay extra for slippers only which was weird. The hot tub has broken buttons to press for bubbles, looks outside onto the car park, hills in distance. Several nice sauna rooms available but salt room smelled strongly of urine and drains. Pool ok. Meal included in a pub. It was very basic and rough. I'm gluten and dairy free and could only eat plain salad starter and ham and chips main, no pud, despite me ringing ahead. Husband said cheese pie ok. We made the best of the experience but definitely not luxurious.

We had our wedding here at the weekend and had the most amazing day. Our wedding coordinator Jacqueline was amazing throughout all the preparations right up to the day.

We had our wedding in the Pennine Suite and everything was perfect. We couldn't have been more delighted with the experience, the venue and the hotel.

All of the staff, particularly Jacqueline, were extremely helpful throughout, both in planning and on the day. They went above and beyond to ensure our special day was truly unforgettable.

My daughter bought me the spa morning for my birthday. We had a lovely time and the afternoon tea was delicious. It would have been nice to have some complimentary drink other than water when relaxing in the chill out lounge. Thank you to Evie for a great massage and facial. A lovely experience in beautiful surroundings.

I am a bit shocked at how run-down the rooms are considering the hotel space downstairs is immaculate.
I have now stayed in the hotel four times over the past three years (the most recent two visits were with my partner and the previous two were with my company).

My biggest bug-bear is the carpets throughout the hotel, most of the carpets in the hotel either need a VERY deep clean or they need replacing, I don’t usually get the “ICK” with anything but the carpets definitely give me the ick.

The bathrooms in atleast half of the hotel haven’t been replaced for atleast 20-years and are now looking very dated compared to their competitors.

If the investment was put into the hotel I could easily see it rising from a four star to five star hotel.

My other issue with the rooms is the severe lack of electrical sockets to plug anything in. Especially as the rooms aren’t air-conditioned and desk fans need to be used to cool down the rooms. The hotel should definitely invest in air-conditioning in all the bedrooms seeming the summers are only going to get hotter and hotter and desk fans are pretty rubbish at cooling down a boiling hot room.
Additionally the sockets at the side of the bed are at an annoying height and positions (the light switches and socket should be above one another, rather than side by side), because currently if you want to plug anything in, you have to move whatever you have on the bedside shelf to be able to plug something in (better thought about how people will actually use the room, helps in avoiding these mistake that annoy people).

It would also be nice if each room had a small fridge, to keep Milk and other things cool in, rather than sitting on a counter/table and going off after just a day because the room is so warm

Finally the layout of the car-park needs a serious looking at, if you own a long car (like a coupe) it’s really hard to get out of the parking spaces when the car-park is full. The front car-park ideally needs to be extended

Our 1st facial ESPA treatment at the Last Drop and won't be our last. We had a joint treatment room and our therapists Almas and Ria where professional. Informative and absolutely amazing. Our facial were perfect, relaxing and the products not only smelt beautiful, they were carefully selected to match our skin types and selected carefully for specific allergies.
We highly recommend Almas and Ria and this treatment.
