Lovely stay. Food excellent. Compliments to the chef. Room lovely. Pillows very hard or lumpy, need new ones. A couple of steam rooms not working. I have never been once when they were all working which is a shame.

My sister and I experienced a wonderful spa morning. Very good value at £89 each which included an hour treatment called Be Restful.
This treatment offered a back massage and express facial including a facial skin analysis.
I would highly recommend Lana. She was friendly, respectful, very thorough and professional! One of the best treatments in a spa I’ve ever had!! I felt a huge benefit from the firm massage with luxury Espa products!
We used the pool and thermal suite and has afternoon tea too! Would definitely return.

I went last drop for my girlfriends birthday, we were greeted with a lovely birthday card and some chocolates for her provided by the staff at last drop, the food was excellent in the evening and even the breakfast in the morning was brilliant. The spa was fantastic although some of the facilities weren’t working on the day but overall had a great time :)

I stayed on 17.10.24 and I mislaid the persons name who did a great job. My booking name was W.BOND.

I had planned to stay at Premier Inn West for business but all hotels were full in the catchment I needed. The Premier Inn receptionist helped find me an alternative and called the reception at the hotel. She negotiated a better room rate with breakfast.

The young lady on reception who's name I believe began with R - welcomed me and ensured that I did get the rate promised even though the lady checking me in was unaware.

THANKS - Hotel Manager find out who it was so I know they get the kudos please.... They really were helpful.

If you are staying here's what I thought.
Room clean, very warm on the weather warning event.
Bed super comfy
Restaurant - not for me but food looked great.

Breakfast - Sorry, it was not what I was expecting, a full English but a little bland. It was delivered to my room, thankfully I did not have to pay the room delivery charge as no one collected my room card off the door the night before so I had to ring for breakfast and I asked they waived the fee, they did thanks. Service was fast after that and a well presented young man delivered it.

Bathroom - great products and super hot water.

Spa - I didn't use but the pool looked great with an outside section, reception staff on duty not super friendly when I made my enquiry.

Location - It looks nice but it's like they have built a housing estate around it. Traffic is very busy on exit.

Good parking facilities.

If you love Pheonix Nights (Peter Kay) the real social club where it was filmed is an 8 mile drive away a club called St Gregorys in Bolton, you can go in if open well worth a trip if you love the show.

Booked a spa day for 2 with a salt scrub treatment. The thermal spa was lovely with a variety of different sauna and steam rooms available. Shame the new houses have spoilt the view of the hills but still a really nice, relaxing experience. Had my treatment with Ria who was really informative and made the experience really calming. The products used left my skin feeling amazing. All the staff within the spa and the bar/restaraunt were friendly and approachable and the atmosphere felt very comfortable. Would definately be going back.

Been several times and always enjoyed it. Staff were great in all areas, polite and friendly. Check in was very efficient. Food for dinner and breakfast was hot and delicious. Will be back soon. Pity no treatment appointment left.

We stayed here for one night in January 2024 in an executive bedroom. The hotel was lovely and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful it had a fireplace but it didn’t have a mini fridge which we like to have for fresh milk and water. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was good too. The hotel, the grounds and the facilities are amazing there is a pub, a wedding shop, a tea room, a gallery and a hairdressers great venue.

I rang to book afternoon tea and spoke to a young man who assured me my booking was fine and he would make sure he recorded it.
On arrival we were not expected, but the young lady who received us said it wasn’t a problem and seated us.

A pot of tea arrived in a stainless steel pot which barely held enough for two, although another pot wasn’t a problem. The food arrived promptly. The sandwiches were nothing special and some of the bread was bordering on stale, as were the scones really, although just about edible. The Lemon Drizzle cakes were lovely as was the Tiramasu: we couldn’t manage the rest.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating.
The restaurant in which it was served, was very outdated and tired looking. The whole experience was very underwhelming sadly.
