A 5 star rating abd in this case justifiable .Rooms top nitch ,doa perfect with a lovely open wall to view out from .Food at night perfect as was the brrakfast .Staff in all departments smiling and willing to help .perfexr example ,very busy sundsy morning we ran out of milk so took my jug to refill on why back not one but 2 staff members smilesd and saud we would have got that for you ,despite being run off their feet .will be coming back again such a lovely stay thank you to you all .

we had a spa day with treatment and afternon tea here the treatment and spa was fantastic with lovely staff, the place is beautiful and clean and great atmosphere, the only thing that stands out and it shouldn't have is the waitress serving our afternoon tea was rude and we was sat in the empty resturant with no music instead of the lovely relaxing bar area. would definitely book again though

Hottest day of the year so far and there was a loooonnng queue, but it was so worth it. The variety of flavours was great to choose from and something for everyone in our group to have! You can also tell they use good quality ingredients and don’t skimp on anything - the mint chocolate chip had lots of chocolate chips in. Highly recommend, even if there is a queue!

Went for Sunday lunch today, although it was busy as Mothering Sunday the service and food was excellent, nice friendly establishment, with a good choice of lunches, puds etc. I had the lamb which was excellent, good portion, piping hot, well cooked veg, Yorkshire pud etc. Nice to have an option of complimentary sparking water instead of just still tap water. Wished I lived nearer as would love to visit but sadly on an all too short visit to the area from the not so scenic Midlands!
