I normally find Zoo trips are mired by the odd failure services, like bad toilets or badly maintained facilities, however Hertfordshire Zio had really well presented enclosures, an amazing dinosaur area, play parks, quality resteraunts and friendly staff. Everyone we spoke to seems very happy and proud of their work, from the ladies in the donut stand all the way through to the people giving talks, putting on shows for the children and even toilet and facility staff. I was really impressed with the whole site and the enclosures for the animals were well laid out, the animals didn't seem agitated or unhappy with their surroundings and the keepers genuinely cared for them. Of all the Zoo's I've been to, I think this has to be my new favourite.

Wow. What a fantastic day we have had here. You can see the animals are very well looked after, enclosures are very clean, staff are really happy, really friendly and super knowledgeable. They have lots of talks on the animals throughout the day.
Whole zoo was very clean, eating areas, toilets very clean.
Motorbike museum is very very interesting a must visit.
Alot of play areas for the children. Fire engine, train and even a splash pool area.
