Fabulous at any time if the year, thus garden is particularly beautiful on a sunny autumn day. Plus, the fire brigade have moved out & so the house is now open & the cafe serves a pretty decent cream tea for under £10, whilst temporary exhibitions occupy much of the rest of the house.

Went for the Christmas market. It had a variety of craft stalls, that ranged from food, alcohol to trinkets and art. Had to pay to get in but it was reduced for members. The market was under a large heated tent. Was very cozy
