I stayed here with my husband and friends on a mystery tour and didn't have a clue where we were going or staying. The evening meal was beautiful, 3 courses, missed breakfast but heard it was ace. Would definitely stay again. Staff really friendly, rooms really clean and comfortable. A lite noisy during to the bad weather but ear plugs were provided free which was a great bonus.

Only negative was the small lifts and over priced drinks at the bar

Lovely hotel. It’s why we always use Holiday Inn. Good location. Only a ten minute walk to the university of central Lancashire. Clean, comfortable beds, good selection of hot drinks. Great breakfast and nice bar.

Excellent stay with short a short notice booking. We urgently left premier inn because of how terrible it was. Holiday inn gladly booked us and gave us the present weekend stay we desired. We loved it so much we booked an extra night! Short walk from the bus station with onsite parking and a high street of nice restaurants that the staff gave great recommendations and local knowledge for.

I have stayed at this hotel almost every week since November 2023 and, in my opinion, it's the best hotel in Preston for business travel.

The rooms are always immaculately clean and comfortable and I always get a good night's sleep.

The basics are delivered really well every time: comfortable beds, plenty of storage including hanging space for clothes and ample sockets and USB charging ports, including on both sides of the bed. Breakfast is always tasty and efficient too.

The hotel's biggest asset is its staff, who are always welcoming, friendly and attentive.

I would highly recommend this hotel for business travellers needing a place to stay in Preston.

The staff all throughout the hotel was excellent. Every request was accommodated with a very polite and kind attitude. The hotel itself suits your needs on a quick business trip just fine, but it was the staff that made the experience 5/5! Special thanks to Alicja at reception.

Thank you for your hospitality in a difficult situation. My son had an online, high profile interview and the staff in the holiday inn were all supportive and understanding of our situation.
We really appreciated your hospitality and understanding.

I stayed here for one night and I was impressed.

The staff were very friendly and the room was really quiet, I got an excellent nights sleep. The service in the restaurant in the evening was lovely and the food good and reasonably priced. Check out was friendly and they stored my bag for the day.

Location is excellent, a 1 minute walk to the bus station.

My wife and I have been members here for years but have now stopped. We think the admission charges are too high and the management need to look after long standing members more carefully We have passed on ideas to the staff but this has made no evident difference. We get much more value from National Trust membership and won't be renewing our membership.

I took my 16yr old daughter to this last night for the 10pm tour not knowing what to expect and it was really good! I thought £15 each was a bit pricey as it's less than that to get into Wookey hole for the day but the overall experience made it worth it and it was a great Halloween treat.
When you arrive you follow candles to the house which was lit up purple and it certainly looked the part for a Spooky tour. There are games in the hall and scary music blasting out while you wait. The terror tour itself is absolutely brilliant fun. In the dark, up and down lots of stairs, through rooms, outside, inside again all the while trying to avoid the lurking zombie types. It's like being in a film with plenty of screaming and hand clutching and grabbing onto strangers arms but all the while having the laugh of a lifetime. It's definitely not for young children but older teenagers and adults will love it.
Afterwards we were given chips and a hot dog - pretty rubbish quality but you can eat it in the grand dining hall and it's a good way to end the tour and talk about all the bits that made you screech!
The staff were all friendly and helpful and the tour 'actors' were great too. My daughter and I would definitely do this tour again.
