The hotel is very nicely situated and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. However, the hotel is badly let down by it's restaurant. At dinner, my husband sent back his soup which had still frozen vegetables floating in it. We both then sent back our main courses. My wild mushroom risotto was inedible as the rice was raw and there was no suggestion of the recipe which should include parmesan. Instead a piece of tired rocked sat on top of it. My husband's 'Classic Lancashire Hotpot' was nothing more than an insult. A minute little dish with a few scraps of tasteless meat of indiscriminate variety and a dreary small slab of potato atop. At £18.95p there really should be a chef around who knows how to cook. We left without having had dinner and went to bed hungry.
Breakfast the next morning was no better. 'Continental breakfast' consisted of a few chunks of dried once fresh fruit and two or three slices of old sliced meat. Everything was left uncovered and there were plenty of flies around. My husband ventured for the traditional breakfast and shortly afterwards had a bad stomach upset.
If you stay in this hotel, take sandwiches!

We stayed Saturday night at the Red Hall Hotel & were a little worried that two seperate weddings were booked in with us on the same night. We should'nt have have had any worries at all because the room we were allocated overlooking the beautiful countryside was well away from the weddding parties and we could hear very little noise from their respective celebrations. The staff from the moment we checked in made us so welcome and we enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely return. The food in the restuarant is superb and we enjoyed both our evening meal and our breakfast the next morning. Thank you to all the staff and we hope to see you again very soon.

Hotel in nice location 5 mins drive from Ramsbottom, was clean, comfortable, pleasant staff and good breakfasts, it was a very good deal we booked through Travelzoo and we enjoyed our stay although not kind of hotel I was expecting, it reminded us of a Premier Inn we would be happy to stay again.

The Hotel is located not far from Ramsbottom, a quaint little village in its self. The hotel you couldn't fault and the meal we had in Oscars restaurant was exquisite. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would defo stay here again

First time stay at the Hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. There was a wedding on and we heard nothing from our room at all. The breakfast room was full next morning however the staff made us a breakfast table up in another part of Oscars restaurant so everyone was happy including us. Great room, very clean and customer service in every area was excellent. There is a great outside seating area if the weather is lovely.

We held my husbands 40th Birthday party in Oscar's Restaurant last night and it was fabulous. The room is modern and chic and a great shape for a party of this kind with a singer/band. They dressed it well with tea lights and lanterns making it feel really warm and cosy. The buffet was great and everything went seamlessly well. Above all are the staff. A true credit to the business, could not do enough for us especially Pepe who ran around making everything perfect all night. The bar staff were very friendly and chatty and the service was great... I will definitely return. Thankyou for an awesome party!

Another short break at the excellent Red Hall Hotel where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. It was a busy weekend with weddings and other celebrations, but even the sound of impressive bagpipes didn't penetrate rooms upstairs. Perfect peace overlooking open fields at the rear. Restaurant meals cooked to perfection. Good shopping in easy reach and so many places to visit with easy motorway access. I'll be back.

Had an amazing stay and dinner at Red Hall Hotel & Oscar's restaurant for my daughters birthday. All of thenteam looked after us really well, especially Pepe in Oscar's, who looked after our daughter all night and sang happy birthday, a lovely touch.
Food was amazing, I had the BBQ platter which was simply excellent, better than Red's True!.....if you know your BBQ! Accommodation very clean and comfortable, I highly recommend this spot for all occasions.
