Was booked by a friend who recommended it and I can see why. Lovely old pub with great character ,oak beams,fire place but with modern facilities too. Food was excellent with generous portions of Sunday roast. I had the roast pork with 4 slices of loin and large chunk of belly with crackling. Large homemade Yorkshire, great vegetable selection with cauliflower cheese included. Lovely gravy on the plate and more provided too. My wife and daughter had the haddock and chips and both struggled to finish with huge homemade chips (more like wedges) . My son had the ribs starter as main and they weren't the usual baby back ribs but huge bone in belly slices with tonnes of meat. (Had to get doggy bag). Desserts were generous portions too. The brownie was huge slices. Staff happily swopped the espresso ice-cream served with the brownie for vanilla. Service excellent too. Want to come back in summer to try the huge beer garden and heard good things about their outside pizza bar too. Thanks to all staff front and back house for great lunch. We will be back despite the over hour drive.

Another great service from Walsall Wood multiple jobs carried out in one day reducing the time without my daughter's car I can't recommend them highly enough

The guys were absolutely fantastic.
Fit me in really quickly for a rubbing noise on a land rover defender.
Turns out it was a loose wheel lining - they fixed it, test drove it and did so without charge.

I had a blow out in my car and I went to Walsall wood tyre and service, the staff were very good, friendly, communicated with me all the time, went out to fetch 4 new tyres from there other company and then the staff went for it , so that I didn't have to wait any longer, much appreciated to all the staff. I moved to JTP from Humphrey and Co, not that there was anyone particular wrong with Humphrey and Co but just JTP offer a more complete, more involved and more real time accounting that suited my business better. I have a small business with 9 employees in the health sector and JTP has been super efficient and letting me know how to budget for my tax year and helping with tax forecasting, as well as being on hand immediate available to discuss any concerns. They were particularly helpful in ascertaining a remortgage with providing me supporting information when I needed it which was in the last few mins of the working day. Nothing ever seems too much to ask and they seem to over deliver which is why they will always have my business going forward. All the staff are excellent and know who you are when you call giving it a personal yet professional touch. As a service based business I am super cautious when giving my business to people as I have very high expectations. So far (3 years on) there have been no disappointments. Payroll is also super smooth each month and the software they use makes this easy too. Would highly recommend. ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
