Dear James,
I thought I’d drop you a quick note to say thank you for all your help when buying my cars from you.
Initially I brought the 2.0 Omega from you and, after only having it a matter of weeks, it was written off in an accident that was not my fault or any fault with the car.
My insurers said the Omega was a write off and paid me out promptly practically the value of the car when I brought it from you. This demonstrates to me that the price I paid for the Omega was fair and just. Thank you for that.
When I called you and explained what had happened to the Omega, I was so grateful that A) you remembered me straight away, and B) you were so very helpful in getting me back on the road as soon as possible.
We chatted about the silver Saab 9-5 you had at the time and we discussed the write off money my insurers had paid me. This amounted to a little less than you were advertising the Saab for but straight away, recognising I need to get mobile again and that I had come back to you as a result of superb service when I brought the Omega, we agreed the price, subject to me seeing the Saab, over the phone there and then! Fantastic! Where else would you get someone who understands that I had been through enough already with the car accident and was very keen to get me back on the road again and help.
I came to see the Saab and we agreed the same price as on the phone, a very fair price. If I am really honest, I still think I got the better deal for the price, but that’s just an indication of how you went the extra mile to ensure I was completely happy. Again, thank you.
I have now had the Saab for about six weeks and there has been no issues what so ever with it! It’s perfect! I do a lot of driving, 130 mile round trip each day just to and from work, and the Saab just purrs! Wonderful!

I would recommend McCarthy Cars to anyone as the best car dealer in South London. I bought a BMW and part exchanged my car, but soon realised the car was lacking on power without warning lights on dashboard. I took the car back to them and they tried their best to fix it. I even took the car to a BMW garage to diagnose the problem. Even the BMW garages failed to solve the problem first time, they carried out repairs that came to the amount of £500.The second time the repair was not worth the value of the car so James McCarthy apologised to me I fully accepted, and my car was given back to me with full refund. To James McCarthy and all his staff thank you and Merry Christmas.
