My late wife and I ate here very frequently for many years and were treated like family. Philip, the owner would often come to the table and chat to us and would make us feel right at home. When my wife died recently the staff were so kind when I took my friends there to thank them for their wonderful support after the death of my wife.The staff really gave us a wonderful night. We all had the Han Banquet and without exception my friends commented on the superb food and the attention of the staff, particularly the head waiter, Clarence, who entertained us througout the meal. I would recommend anyone to eat here as the food is consistently good and simply the best Chinese food to be had in the district as far as I'm concerned.

Use at least twice a year always have a good meal. Normally go on a weekday, Tuesday or Wednesday, and it very quiet, have sometimes been the only party in there. Very attentive staff lovely food and never a problem. Happy to accomodate birthday singalong.

From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome. The food was excellent and the service was attentive without being 'in your face'. Thouroughly enjoyed a rare evening out. Cant fault it.

Me and my boyfriend went to Hans Saturday night, we hadn't booked and although they were really busy they manage to fit us in. The atmosphere and decorous is lovely, we had a table in the corner and it was lovely and romantic.
We were really impressed with the food which was one the best Chinese meals we have ever had, really tasty, fresh and the service was great, all the staff were friendly and polite.
We would definatly recommend this resturant and definatly go back again.

Great food, great service, great ambience - we've had several meals there, always top quality. Our friends from the other side of Leicester agree that Han's is the best Chinese meal in Leics..what more can we say!

We have been going to the Han for 15 years and always take our children when there is an excuse for a celebration. The duck never fails to please and we always enjoy a good value night out.

We ordered a Chinese takeaway whilst holidaying in a nearby village. I must say, after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I had very high expectations of Han's. However, I must say the real experience just didn't live up to it.
We ordered: Prawn crackers, sweet & sour chicken, a portion of chips, egg fried rice and garlic & chilli chicken. This came to £25 (including the 15% pay-by-cash discount). The prawn crackers, admittedly, were very good, however, everything else was just 'ok'. Nothing was greasy, it was just a bit bland. A bit too average for £25.
The member of staff who greeted us was very lovely and welcoming and we were waiting for no longer than 10 minutes for our food (on a Friday evening), which we were very impressed by. However, I certainly would think twice about spending that amount of money on a Chinese takeaway from here again.

Booked at short notice, very accommodating. Found all the staff to be very happy to serve us & friendly. Found the food to be served promptly even though they where very busy & to be of an excellent standard. Will definitely return, quality of food has ruined our Chinese takeaways! Great find!
