Beautiful location and entrance, but not as lovely as it was due to huge housing developement. We attended a function in a rather tatty room where we were served undercooked fish & tepid food that had definítely been sat in a bain marie for some time resulting in congealed sauce.

Very comfortable rooms and hotel
We returned from a family party near the hotel and went for a drink in the bar with friends for a drink. There clearly was some tension in the bar area which resulted in a member of staff asking for calm. We finished our drinks quicker than normal and went to bed. We heard

Visited the pool and stopped for lunch. The overall impression of the facilities were that they could do with some tlc. Service for lunch was slow but friendly, limited choice to eat as some items unavailable. What we did have was nice.
