We called into the bar this morning for coffee after a walk with our grandson. Irene, the lady behind the bar was wonderful, very polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, she is definitely an asset to the hotel. We will definitely be returning for lunch very soon.

We very recently celebrated our wedding reception here & we have nothing but wonderful things to say! Rochelle, Chris & the team are amazing! Nothing was too much hassle, Rochelle was always on hand answering my questions and calming my nerves! The food was outstanding (so many of our guests complimented the food), the bar staff are so friendly (a special shout-out to Irene who always made our visits special).

As I found out, there’s always last minute changes to food/ guest lists but Rochelle and her team took it in their stride and made the whole experience stress free for myself and now husband!

Our package included a DJ, Clint was wonderful, he played all our requests, was humorous and all round excellent!

The bedrooms where clean, comfortable and very accommodating to our guests who had family rooms

I could go on and on saying wonderful things, it was truly the happiest day of our lives and again I cannot thank Rochelle, Chris and the team enough xx

Hotel is adequate, rooms are clean and gym is handy! WiFi needs improving but the 4-star rating is for the staff who make the place what it is! From somebody who has worked in hospitality previously Katie, Irene, James K & Jimmy are absolutely golden and deserve appreciation for the work they do for all guests!

Another work related stay but was quite happy as the room was a typical holiday inn room which i dont mind the beds in particular i always find very comortable
There is a limited gym here
The hotel is very central for preston itself so is ideal for a walk around the streets for drinking shopping etc
I will be quite happy to stay here again staff very pleasant and helpfull

Used the hotel for an overnight stay to see a concert at the Guild Hall. As it is within 5 minutes walk to the hall it was most convenient. It wasn't ideal to find if you are new to Preston as I am as the sat nav was not too great at finding it, but it is also at the side of the bus station if you are travelling by bus. Parking spaces are a bit limited but there is an adjacent multi-storey if you are unlucky to get a space.
The rooms are quite small but nicely furnished with all the basic facilities. They were not elegant but everything worked without falling off the wall.
The staff and service was excellent. All of them were very pleasant and helpful. The dining area is quite small but very pleasant .We didn't dine in on the evening so cannot comment on the dining (only tried the lattes and found them to be average but expensive) but the breakfast, although simple, was well presented and cooked.
I am not sure I would wish to stay for a long period but for the convenience of location, and it is not an uncomfortable hotel at all, I would happily use it again.

Third visit. Service and room excellent. Car park was full but parked on the road outside without any issues. Breakfast was top notch with plenty of variation.
One of the ladies who looked after us at breakfast did an incredible job of looking after a gentleman who was blind...fantastic well done.

I noted the hotel states it is adjacent to the iconic 1960s bus station, well it's fair to say it looks like the hotel is an iconic 1970s establishment.

Whilst my stay was fine, bed was comfy and food in 1975 restaurant very good - the decor in the bedrooms and public areas was like a Fred Pontins establishment from the mid 70s.

Don't know what the parking issue is, I got a space next to the front door, the reception check in was prompt and efficient, card worked 1st time, as was the check out, bill was correct 1st time.

Left satisfied and if you spend a few bob at Ikea freshening the place up a bit, you would have a great hotel.
