A wonderful place to go and definitely be going bk there again. I had a experience day feeding the tigers and it was amazing. Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable when it comes to the animals. Picnic areas play areas loads to see and do great place

It's a nice zoo, very easy to move around with baggy or whilchair. The staff are all very kind. If you are tired to walk around there are several small play park around where children can play. Enjoy

Just came back after spending a fantastic day at Paradise wildlife park with two young kids of 3.5 and 10 months old. It was just perfect for them loads of animals and quite a few play areas from Sand, to blocks, to train ride and soft play areas as well. Good informative shows every hour, where you can sit and get entertained.Not a huge park either which is good with little kids as you don't need to walk long to see animals. Just brilliant!

I love Groupon and I am always checking it to see if I can find something new and interesting to do.
I have never been to this kind of park since I moved to London so I jumped on the occasion when I saw the offer on Groupon. I bought two tickets so my sister and I could have a day out together.
It is very easy to get there without any car, just take the train from Liverpool station until Broxbourne. Once there, you can ask at the desk to call the park so they can send the bus to collect you.
Bad luck for us, as we choose to go there a Sunday, the desk was closed. We managed the find the park telephone number on our smartphone and after an awful wait I have got someone on the line to tell her we were at the station.
The par is fine, but I wouldn´t call it a wildlife par, more a farm with a few wild animals too.
Don´t get me wrong, we had fun and had a good day, but I don´t think this park is designed for just two adults, more for parents with kids.
In general all the animals seemed to be in god health apart for two.
First at all I think one of the zebra really could do with a hooves trim, they were awfully long and in bad shape. If they can´t pace around enough to do it naturally, the park should hire someone to keep an eye on it.
The second ones were the otters; the poor things were swimming in a very very grim green water, so thick you couldn´t see anything through it and smelt very bad. Their skins didn´t seem very healthy, with spot of angry red on their paws and faces.
The rest of the animals were in good shape, happy to be fed by the people and napping under the sun.
In general we had a good time under the lovely sun and watching a few animals. We just stayed a few hours as the park doesn´t offer much things for adults without kids.
We took the bus back to the station (every quarter to and quarter after) and back to London!

My husband and I took my cousin here today for a bit of a change as we usually go to Colchester zoo. Lets just say firstly I am glad I did not pay the £45 that it would have cost us to get in thanks to them excepting clubcard vouchers! As you walk in there are lots of rides and amusements all of which you have to pay extra for not great when you have children I can imagine! They do have some beautiful animals such as white tiger and lions but none of the cages were that spectacular! I think lunch was prob the highlight of the day when we ate in the diner good value! Definitely would not be a full day out. Shame.

My husband and I took the lemur experience at Paradise Wildlife Park, and we were greeted warmly by staff at the Discovery Centre before being taken to the lemur enclosure. There we spent a delightful half hour with the ringtailed lemurs and their keeper, Daisy, who answered our questions and took photos for us.
After a delicious lunch in the Tiger Treetops cafe, we looked around the zoo - the snow leopards, cheetahs and white lions (especially the cub) were beautiful. We loved the otters and red pandas too. We watched an excellent flying display by owls, parrots and hawks and then paid £1 to feed nectar to lorikeets - a really enjoyable experience. It was fascinating to see the length of their tongues as they probed the cups of nectar, and the beautiful birds landed on our arms, hands and heads.
Other animals to see include zebras, camels,alpacas, meercats, reptiles, penguins, parrots, ocelots, monkeys, tapirs, various farm animals and a rabbit village!
I notice that some reviewers state that the zoo is so small that it's not worth spending all day there, but if you go to a zoo to watch the animals, you can spend a long while in front of each enclosure (especially if you are trying to photograph the animals too). I think you need several hours there if you want to enjoy everything without feeling rushed.
All the staff were friendly and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facilties.
