For a relaxed zoo experience this place is perfect. Dinosaur walk through and meet various dinosaurs throughout the day, many animals including tigers and white tiger, monkeys, lemurs, camels, meerkats, red panda, reptiles and exotic birds.
Lagoon area for kids to splash around in on hot days.
Plenty of picnic tables surrounded by play areas.
The food and drink outlets are reasonably cheap, burger or hotdog £4, 2 cappuccinos and a slushy came to £6.
Train ride is £2 but really not worth it, gift shop is extortionate.
We went in August during kids holidays, it was busy but still very comfortable and chilled out.
Definitely recommend this place.

Had a really lovely day here. Even during the summer holidays we didn't have trouble parking and managed to get round ok. The play areas were great and varied. The animals were lovely but some of them looked like they could do with more space! We loved the meerkats and Lars gibbons.

Great for children to see animals but prices in food and drink is way to high. £2.80 for a ("large" but anywhere else would be a small) soft drink is ridiculous

We have taken out grandchildren to PWPa few times and they have always enjoyed the trip. Lots to see and do in a compact area.

I spent a full day here with my very active 4 yo.

One half of the park is dedicated to wildlife especially big cats including the more unusual like Snow Leopards and White Tigers. The other half is dedicated to a large outdoor play area of various types (even including a small dedicated disabled play area), a small splash park and the Dinosaur walk (some with excellent animatronics and sound effects). There’s also a good sized indoor soft play for the days when you might need to shelter from the weather for a while.

The perfect place if your child is into dinosaurs and big cats, or just likes running, climbing and splashing!

Having taken my 6 year old foster child for the day I found that there are not enough disabled toilets around the site. Some of the animals could not be readily seen for a child in a wheelchair as some of the viewing Windows are to high for him to see from his chair.
The children's play area with in-store restaurant has a child changing area with 2 toilet cubicles being used by adults and children at the same time giving no privacy.
Some of the walking areas between exhibits are not easily accessible for a wheelchair. The dinosaurs exhibits are fantastic and made his day.
