Very interesting and fasinating small folly. A number of tunnels connecting to small chambers, especially when being unlit so remember to take a torch. Kids will love the visit, and the friends of the Grotto will explain its history.

We took our 2 year old and he absolutely loved it! There was so much for him to do although he was scared by the dinosaurs 🙈 I loved seeing the lions 🥰 will definitely come back in the summer to make use of the splash area. We went during school time so it was lovely and quiet

I’d not been to Paradise Wildlife Park for quite a while and was invited by a family member to go with them.last time I went the zoo was a really good day out with plenty to see however this time that was not the case.Because of the new sunbear and Jaguar enclosures being built it felt like half the zoo was shut off.there where also a lot less animals to see than on my previous visit, last time there where Cheetahs and various smaller wildcats that have now gone, there where also jaguars(I know there coming back) but not there this visit ,also there where normal and white lions.only one of which is there now.
I also think even though the new tiger enclosure is impressive the idea of having most of the ground floor viewing windows in the restaurant is wrong ,if your a photographer and want photos you’d have to take pics over people eating food.
On a positive I do feel the enclosures there are definitely better and bigger than I remember.the red pandas where also very active and great to see

I think if the price had been reduced because of the building work and less animals it would have been fairer

Fantastic day out!!! Worth every penny.

We were a bit unsure how it would be for us as we weren’t taking children but was honestly an awesome day out! Highly recommend

We visited during the last weekend of March as our daughter loves 'One, Zoo, Three' on CBBC. We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting the park. Great range of animals and displays. Excellent and affordable food and drink options. Staff and keepers were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and engaging. My wife was lucky enough to bump into Lynn (CEO) who went above and beyond. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely place of great interest to visit. A must if you have an hour maximum to spend looking at a little bit of local history.

This is such a fantastic little place to spend half an hour or so. Every time I have been I love it, it's just different and yet quite eerie. Would recommend to all, but if you struggle with walking and such, maybe not a great place as it is tight and you do need to be careful with your footing in parts.

Scott's Grotto is a wonderful hidden gem in Ware. It is definitely worth a visit if you live in or are visiting Ware.
Make sure to check the opening dates has times before you go as these are limited - Certainly worth a visit though.

Went here a few times as a kid and was by far one of the most memorable school trips from junior school!

I found this hidden gem after checking out Tripadvisor whilst pet-sitting in Ware. Absolutely incredible grotto. I was amazed by all the shells and stones which were incorporated into the design of the tunnels. There's some seats built into the chamber walls. I went round twice because I was so fascinated.
The two volunteers were very helpful and I learned about the history of this place.
The summerhouse is delightful and pictures on the wall show how it looked way before the housing estate was built! There would have been a beautiful view of Ware. Be sure to take a torch and £1 for the donation box. There's also history guides on sale if you wish to purchase them. Scotts Grotto is open on Saturday afternoons and Bank Holidays. Allow at least half an hour to look around.
