Absolutely brilliant... so clean and a shout out to Ian who spent time talking to us about Tahnee the Cheatah and Billy the Ocelot.

I had booked 3 nights at the zoos accommodation with 2 animal experiences (feed a big cat and meet the lemurs) the zoo is small but all the staff are very friendly and families are very well catered for in food, and amusements. My big cat feed was a little cramped and seemed very short for the money spent BUT the keeper was lovely and actually how often will anyone hand feed a snow leopard? The lemurs were very different as you could go in the enclosure and interact with them, again a lovely keeper and the lemurs were adorable. I decided whilst there that 2 nights was really enough for me and when I informed the staff they set about seeing if they could refund me part of the overall B&B cost - which was unexpected but I was very grateful when they did. The apartment was spotless but with high windows felt a bit oppressive. Tea coffee provided along with a chargeable minibar and a microwave. Had an issue with the air con. But this was sorted as soon as it was reported. Three generations of the family run this zoo and they clearly love what they do and maintain high standards.

My husband did the Feed the Wolves experience here - he had a brilliant time. The staff and volunteers are all so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - Pia with the wolves and Karen at Tiger cafe particularly. This is a lovely zoo, easy to cover in a day.

Lots to see and do. With plenty of outdoor and indoor play areas. Best for under 10s.

Facilities are good and the new Dinosaur section is excellent. It is expensive however with children tickets costing almost as much as adults. Some animal enclosures seem small.

My daughter loves visiting as we love close by and have a monthly membership. The winter months are good as the park tends to be much quieter and the animals hide away less. Probably best to bring a picnic as the restaurant can be a little experience. There is tons for the kids to do

The dinosaur section as you enter was pretty amazing and unexpected, there was a large selection of different animals which all looked really well cared for. The food prices were reasonable and loads to do for little kids. The park is big enough to keep everyone interested and you could easily see and do everything in a day there!
