This place was utterly magical!! With a 5 year old obsessed by One Zoo Three - and dinosaurs! It really couldn't have been a better day out.<br>We managed it all pretty comfortably in a day and the food was nice, despite only having one restaurant open (as it was not busy at all)<br>The Birds Show was excellent, and all the staff we came across were chatty, interested in my son, and very friendly.<br>It was a lovely Zoo, in itself, with clearly happy animals (the birds flew straight back in to their little holes in their enclosures and the otters were demented with scratchy excitement!!) All too cute! And lovely to see where the TV show is filmed for my son.<br><br>It is sooo worth a visit for kids of any age (playground, softplay, etc etc)<br><br>Thanks Hertfordshire Zoo! We will be back!

Good layout of the large cat enclosures gives them space but in a way the visitors can see in from multiple vantage points.<br>Bring your own sarni unless you want a burger or pram free noodle bar.

Visited for my daughters second birthday. She loved it, lots of walking but so many animals to see along the way so she was easily distracted! Would definitely return!
