We had a fantastic day out. This place is an elite visit for the whole family.<br>Parking….. excellent.<br>Upkeep and appearance…… top notch<br>Staff….. very friendly and helpful.<br>Kids activities…… Plenty and well<br>Spaced out to keep them well entertained and busy.<br><br>Nice food, nice cofffee, doughnuts, ice creams, hotdogs, dinosaurs, a train ride, sand play, live entertainment, a lovely wet splash pool with seating, wonderful array of well kept happy animals.<br>They’ve done a really good job.<br>Was actively marking excellent bits in my head as we went around.<br><br>Particular brilliant thing… noticed by the boring kinda man that I am….. the controlled safety gates to cross the road within the park.<br><br>This place is great. We will become members and make many future visits.

Zoo itself is okay.. decent variety of animals and the dino bit is great. Do not dine here unless you’re ready to do some serious dollar for L food.<br><br>£12.50 for a jacket potato (beans subs cheese). I was shocked… still am.

Massive improvements from the last time I was there many years ago. However, some disappointment was that the memberships now lost a few benefits such as the train ride and golf etc. Also the queue to enter was taking quite a while as the payment system was being temperamental, so whether you prebooked tickets or not it meant everyone was waiting anyway!

Excellent zoo where the animals are clearly treated really well and great efforts at conservation. Facilities are great. Offerings beyond just the zoo such as the soft play and speedway museum are great for a family day out!

Really good, loved the drummers on entrance. The coffee was really poor though, wouldn’t recommend, and if you have a screaming child then you can get round it very quickly!

Came for the first time this weekend with the family. Daughter has an agenda this to do as many zoos as possible 😅.<br>The selection of animals on site to see and learn about is truly remarkable. Did quite a few of the keeper talks aswell.<br>The enclosures small to large were amazing. Everything was so well maintained, clean and tidy. Everything just looked brand new . Coming on a perfect weather day just added to the experience as all the animals wanted to be out.<br>Loved the history near the main entrance entrance learning about the zoos history through the years & their conservation projects.<br>Good selection of Catering onsite did the Sunbear bakery first got a few snacks drinks , kids loved the toasties and heated croissants. Seating area in there looks over the bear enclosure.<br>Went to the Pangaea Restaurant for a late lunch and wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the food we received<br>But didn't let that reunion our visit and one last look round and visited the shop got to have a fridge magnet.<br><br>In all great day out hopefully come back again when next in the area .
