I knew most places are cashless, but it does not say this on their website. Only about food vendors within the zoo it's self, I believe they need to update their policy on blue light cards with notice to veterans also. With all this was a good day out and a very clean and upto date zoo

Excellent day out. Children will adore this place.<br>I was so impressed with the whole experience.<br>Food was good and reasonable priced but you could take a picnic as there were plenty of picnic areas.<br>Highly recommend this for disabled as was totally friendly.<br>Hire of electric, manual wheelchairs available. Also, buggys for children.<br>So we'll organised .

It was well worth the three and a half hour drive down the old Roman Road, which frankly needs updating, but that's nothing to do with this review.<br><br>We had a wonderful visit. The kids were so excited and we're not disappointed. The facilities for baby change and toilets were in excellent condition. All the staff were very pleasant many going out of their way to be extra friendly. We were very lucky to see all the animals. We loved watching the tiger eating.<br>The play areas were an added bonus which the kiddos loved. Then on top of everything the dinosaur 🦕 park was amazing.<br>All the kids said is when can we come again.

This zoo is amazing, highly recommend. Have lots of interesting and interacting animals. It has various different places to have a tea and Coffee. My family enjoyed this so much. Have been many times and planning to come again.

On Monday 17th February we had the amazing opportunity to take part in the 'Big Cat Experience' where we got to feed a tiger called Siberia! Our zoo keeper Vivienne (sorry if we have not spelt your name correctly) was so lovely and informative, she taught us so much and really made the experience very enjoyable. After feeding Siberia the tiger, we enjoyed exploring the rest of the zoo. It was our first time here ,as our local zoo is Whipsnade, and we were so impressed with Hertfordshire Zoo. Lovely and clean zoo and spacious homes for the animals which was great to see. We will definitely be back in the summer!<br>Thank you Vivienne and Hertfordshire Zoo for a fantastic and memorable day.

Zoo has spent a lot of time on aesthetics and layout. Very good experience. Animals wells cared for. Enrichment visible and spaces for them to have privacy. Lots to see and do but not too much walking.

Buy tickets online as a discount is available.<br>Took my 3 year old grandson and he thoroughly enjoyed the animals but less so the dinosaurs , perhaps a little too lifelike for him with the sound effects though other children seemed more than happy!<br>Lunch in the restaurant was disappointing , the driest chicken I’ve ever been served anywhere as was the burger meat . I should have complained at the time but honestly if you’re going to batch cook the meat at least get rid of it if it’s sat there for a long time as I suspect my order had .<br>That said , I would visit again but not the dinosaur restaurant .
