Had the most amazing family day out here today!! This was our first time here and it won't be our last!! Paradise Wildlife Park is perhaps the best thought out Zoo experience I've ever had and it's a breath of fresh air going to a place that's not too sprawling like London Zoo or excessively busy like other entertainment parks. The animals all seem to be happy with their enclosures, everything is clean and tidy, staff are all helpful and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The dinosaur experience was especially memorable and even at age 40, I'm excited to see it again! The kids definitely loved it!! There is a good selection of animals to see and the enclosures are designed with viewing in mind so you're able to get close enough and elevated vantage points are very useful. One highlight today was looking down at the leopard enclosure and seeing one a few feet away from me!

I would recommend the park to anyone of any age, but particularly to families with children under ten. I went with my son and daughter in law and my two grandchildren. We all had a fantastic day.....and we are veterans of many days out. Starting at about 10 am, we had time to see everything on our to-see list before we were all tired outcast five.
There are plenty of animals to see, and although there are not as many as at other zoos, we were able to have clear sight of all of them, and they all seemed tranquil and well cared for in lovely surroundings. We loved the lions! The dinosaur exhibit was the early highlight of the day, well laid out and truly impressive. Our three-year-old was beside himself with happiness. His older sister, who had been terrified by a smaller display, was delighted to see the dinosaurs in their 'natural habitat' šŸ˜„ The Ā£2 fare for the little train was well worth it for the little ones. It's also worth noting that the small ride ons were all free and there were adult/child toilet seats in the ample conveniences.
Our lunch was tasty and economical, for example, beanburger and chips (more than I could eat) was Ā£8.50.
There are various options for snacking and children's play areas dotted around. We were too tired for the beach in the end!

My first trip to PWP and what a good impression it made! I went with my daughter and two grandchildren 9 and 2.
First stop was the dinosaurs; excellent animatronics which really helped bring them ā€˜to life’. Even the 9 year old was impressed!
Across the road and on to the animals. Everywhere we went, the animals all looked cared for and in great condition. Such a variety, from pygmy tamarins and marmosets to mighty lions and tigers.
Had lunch at the Sun Bear Bakery, I had a tasty cheese and ham toastie and a cup of tea whilst the others had pizzadillas (tortillas with pizza cheese and tomato topping folded over), two cans of still water and two cans of Diet Coke. Cost £21
When we left the tigers, we walked past the Bamboo Kitchen and the smells made my mouth water, looked delicious but we came across it too late!
Round the rest of the animals and then back over the road intending to have an ice cream and then home. Here we discovered a hidden gem, the Splashpool! We took our ice creams and sat round the pool but the 9 year old was so upset that she couldn’t go in!! Next time I’ll make sure she has shorts in the bag she can change in to and get wet!
All in all, we had a great day and will definitely return.

Fantastic little grotto dating from Circa1760. 99% still original, some nice Chambers in the cave with decorative shells. Gardens nice with a little summer house. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. All for £2 each. We'll worth it to help keep history alive.
