The animated park map looks better and exciting then the park its self! Its not a very big place to accommodate the amount people that turned up to face endless queues and overpriced entrance cost

Am a fairly regular visitor to this park with my 5 year-old and we love it. Each time we're there from opening until closing time and never run out of things to see or do. Visited mostly recently on a beautiful sunny day with my daughter and her best friend and the girls were sad to leave and begged to return again soon. A great mixture of animals (with interesting talks / demonstrations), soft play, picnicking and running about in the playground. Lovely to be able to see the animals up close and staff have always been helpful when my daughter has asked questions about their care / diet / natural habitat etc. Lots of fantastic photos opportunities and each time we visit we try to listen in to a different talk or demonstration so my daughter has learnt a fair bit about care and conservation. I note a few harsh reviews about how busy its been on unusually sunny days but surely crowds are to be expected? I wouldn't head to a theme park / zoo / outdoor entertainment on a rare sunny day as high footfall is likely and queueing of some description is inevitable. I don't think its fair to criticse a venue for closing when its full to capacity as the alternative would be a very unsafe day out where everyone's experience is ruined due to there being no space to move or see / do what you've paid for. It does sound as if parking has been a problem but surely no venue has an infinite number of spaces? Better communication is a must where cars are queued down the road (I appreciate that this is dependent on staff numbers) and I understand that some people have had a frustrating wait but there's always a risk when wanting to spend a day outside in unseasonably warm weather - everyone else has had the same idea! I hope people aren't put off by the bad reviews as it really is a nice day out, particularly for familes with younger children. I see smiling faces in abundance every time I visit.

Earlier this week I took my very young grandchildren to the Park with their Mum.
It was brilliant with lots of animals to see and, of course, the dinosaurs. The park is beautifully clean and you don't have to walk miles to see the animals.Food prices were sensible but we took a picnic. We parked close to the entrance which meant we could easily go to our car to get the picnic and take it back in.
This would have easily been 5 star but I give it 4 because of the ridiculously price of the railway ride. It is £2 a head and lasts about 2 minutes. A total rip-off.
A great quality place to visit

My daughters had a experience booked to meet and feed the sloths we had a great day and when they meet the sloths it was fantastic and would recommend it to anybody.

I love this place, it is a small zoo, but everything you need. Plenty for all ages, although some area's would be difficult for people with mobility issues. We did the ' tickle the tapir' and it was a fantastic experience. Tim even came from the other stable to join us for a good scratch, they truely loved it, same as i did. Highly recommended.

Easily doable in 3h. Big cats area was the best. Red panda and meerkat were very cute. Rest all standard. Appalling safari.

My boyfriend and I came and did an experience here. I think this is a great idea and there was so much choice on what to do. They were a little bit on the expensive side, however we purchased ours when there was a special deal. It was a.good experience and I would recommend it. I agree the enclosures are a little small but by no means do the animals look unhappy or neglected. It isn't the biggest park I've been to by was still a lovely day out and we loved the experience.
