In March 2021, Gordon C said about Gill's Bathrooms and Kitchens
From the various stages you go through to get a completed bathroom and toilet, Gill's Bathroom and Kitchens were always patient, knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. A pandemic doesn't help, but every precaution was taken and all the team made me feel comfortable and at ease. Karl, the gentleman in charge of transforming my bathroom is a master of his trade. He was always punctual, polite, ready to explain what he was doing and produced a bathroom and toilet that I can now be proud of. Waste from the refurbishment was regularly bagged up for collection and at the end of each day the working area was thoroughly cleaned. I'm certainly impressed with all the team and the end result and would happily recommend Gill's Bathrooms and Kitchens to others.

We would like to thank you for the excellent job Gill’s have done on our bathroom, from design through to installation. Rob did a fantastic job working safety during COVID. Thanks to all and I think Rob mentioned you also did bedrooms but I don’t remember seeing this on offer in your show room?

Really grateful for speedy response and David’s expertise today/Friday. Did not expect to go from no heating this morning to response and repair in such a short time, early afternoon. As always, we appreciate Gill’s, their personnel and quality of service.

In February 2021, Gary F said about Welwyn Roofbox Hire
Simply an absolutely fantastic service from start to finish dealing with these guys. With a young family this was the first time we had hired a roof box, so we were looking to hire everything (roofbox+bars+fixing). When we spoke to Nigel he was thorough in his knowledge of the products and happy to share his experience of what would be the best fit for us. Welwyn was the most cost effective we had found but it was the friendly engagement with Nigel that made us choose him. When we arrived for the fitting to the car Nigel took the time to make sure that I was aware of each step taken and the products chosen were really simple to pick up. We chose to also rent the thule Go Bags with the roofbox on Nigel's advice and this was on the money and made packing and de-packing the roofbox a painless process, which was a great plus when dealing with our young children!! With the release of lockdowns expecting soon we will be using Nigel again, and have already recommended him to our family and friends

In August 2016, Rob Andrews said about Paradise Wildlife Park
Unless you have kids in tow this will take no more than 3 hours to visit all of the animal attractions, shows and talks. A lot of the park is geared up for young kids with quite a significant amount of play areas to keep them entertained further. Make sure you pack a picnic as park prices are ridiculous. Standard pack of walkers crisps and a hotel style pack of two shortbread biscuits £3. Bottles of drink well over £2. Cafe expensive and found the service far from acceptable for the prices being charged £7 for a burger and waiting in a queue for 20 mins plus on what I would consider a quiet day. Good selection of big cats not seen elsewhere together with some shows worth watching . We visited as part of a Virgin Experience Day - 'Afternoon Tea with Tigers'. The main part of experience was tea and keeper talks. Group of 20+ of us were walked round the all the cat enclosures whilst providing some insightful additional detail. This took about an hour but no access to any areas that you could not get to whilst walking around park under normal admission. Afternoon tea in Tree Tops cafe very disappointing. Do not expect it to be anything like a normal afternoon tea. All self service in a buffet style. Sandwiches were good but the cakes were all fresh out of a freezer and the scones were all cut in half with a bit of jam , squirty cream and a cut strawberry with the stem still attached! Pretty much the worst afternoon tea experienced. Suggest you give the experience a wide birth and just get a general admission to the park - just remember to bring your own food and drink. Oh and to top it all you need to pay an extra £3 for parking.

In October 2016, Vanessa P said about Paradise Wildlife Park
This park appeared to be linked to the WHF facility in Kent which I have visited more than once and is more geared to animal conservation. This park is just a muddle of amusements and noise geared to children (to be fair it was half term) but the animals just seemed to be secondary to the rest of the very noisy pursuits in the grounds. The animals were in what appeared to be very small enclosures and looked very stressed pacing the perimeters. I am sorry but I don't think this is right in this day and age. Please rethink this form of "side show" and consider the animals wellbeing.
