Not the best place I've been to like this. Went with 3 boys aged 6, 8 & 10. They got bored at times. I'd recommend for younger children aged 5 and under.

You get the best value for money if you come after 3pm, at which time the gate price goes down to £5.50 per person. Note, though, this promotion isn't applicable on bank and school holidays.<br><br>You can get really close to the big cats, more so than at any other zoo.

Interesting fine assortment of wildlife from birds to lions and a variety of shows throughout the day. Many activities and play areas for children well patrolled.A fine selection of foods and buffet in the marquee as well as public conveniences in more than one place. Pricey however if you have a family and wanting a day out. Single adult starts at £19.80 with discount for senior citizens 60 and over. However there are extras to pay for kids rides etc.
