A nice quiet and clean garden, so sat and ate a sandwich whilst birds flew around. A cheeky jackdaw sat perched on a branch opposite me waiting for crumbs. I wish I took a pic of it,, starring me out. The gardens are very picturesque for a small garden. I took a walk around the the front of the gatehouse, watched the ducks for a while before heading back to town.

Very pleasant, lots of stalls with Chrismas goods, and food stalls, the Caribbean Street food and the German Sausage stand were great! - A good experience. A+.

We visited yesterday for the Christmas market. Unfortunately it was a cold wet day so we didn't stay out for too long but it was very pretty and they had a live band playing Christmas carols.A bit muddy at times!

The grounds are lovely & I want to return to see the castle properly soon.<br>We were there today for the Christmas Market which was lovely and festive but not many stalls & a very long queue to get in as there was a one way system around the Christmas Market. Which we understood why (Covid) but it made everything very slow moving and could make you feel a bit rushed when looking at each stall as you were aware of the back up behind you.

Gorgeous venue and grounds! Jackie and her team are amazing. Jackie is a fantastic events organiser and makes everything so effortless so we could all enjoy the day. This is the second time we have hired it for a big event in past 4 years. Would highly recommend for any event, naming ceremony, wedding etc etc. Many thanks to all the staff.
