In September 2025, Darren Gowland said about Paradise Wildlife Park
Took the kids as a change from Colchester zoo and this place was amazing. The kids loved the Dino area and the train and the zoo itself was great being able to see the animals so close. Took a picnic for lunch there was plenty of seating in a park area which also allowed the kids to run off and play while we finished eating. We will definitely be going again.

Lovely selection of animals we saw all the animals as they was all out very well looked after cafes served good food the gift shop had a lovely supply of different toys and gifts the dinosaur part was really well done to definitely go again

My daughter loves the dinosaur exhibit here and we always make sure to walk around it. The rest of the zoo barely gets a look in, but we enjoyed the tapir talk last time we went. It's well worth getting an annual pass if you're local.
