An array of animals are at this wildlife park yet this was dampened by the lack of enthusiasm from some of the staff. I think that it is unprofessional to give visitors incorrect information about specific animals when asked, not very good to make up information or fob a visitor off - especially if that visitor already knows a wealth of information about a specific species of animal they are enquiring about! Other staff seemed to have a 'can't be bothered' attitude and therefore even talking to them about anything was like hitting your head against a brick wall. Others were more interested in beefing up how good the car park was than the wildlife park itself. Better customer service would not go a miss neither would be to send certain staff on the DMZAA or retrain to get their subject knowledge up to scratch.
The needs for the animals appeared to be good although some of the enclosures do require an update and some of the physical enrichment could do with an improvement.
While it was an experience, there are plenty of other wildlife parks that provide better experiences than Paradise.

We went to the Wildlife Park for Breakfast with the big cats. Ian was really nice and funny and knew his stuff about carnivores.
The cats were very shy and some were still having breakfast so we couldn't see them as much as we wanted. Was also planning on seeing a leopard and an ocelot but they were nowhere to be seen... Cats being cats they were probably sleeping (all day).
We spent the rest of the day at the zoo and tried to attend all the shows but it's too much to catch up. Really good size zoo to take the little ones as you can go from one side to the other in a jiffy.
Overall experience was really good.

I went with my daughter,husband and grandson had a great time.My grandson is 2years old and enjoyed not only the animals but also the play ground.One thing that really impressed me is that they have a play area for children with disablities not many places cater for their needs,also easy access for the disabled.Signs done in sign language which is a very unusual thing to see shame more places dont do this.Educational lots to do even a motor bike museum would recommend this park to everyone.This was my second visit and I will definately be going again.If people travel by train or bus there is a pick up service to get to the park at only £3 per person though we didnt use this service we were very impressed that this was offered

A brilliant day out. the staff were extremely helpful & friendly which made the experience very special. The zoo is extremely well kept and all the animals looked healthy & happy. Especially the penguins after I had fed them !!!!
Although we hadn't any children with us there was lots of activities for them to do.
My family have been visiting this zoo for over 20 years and have seen it grow from a very basic zoo to the excellent place it s now.
would highly recommend it.

Had a lovely day with our grandaughter who is just under 2 ,she had the time of her life going from animals to play things she was entertained the whole day ,finally finishing off in the paddling pool which she really loved we are lucky as we live nearby so will definitely be coming back .
The only downside was the food we purchased in the restaurant but in future we would bring a picnic as the picnic areas are more than adequate

Interesting to see and read about the history of speedway with lots of artifacts and memorabilia through the ages - lots to take in as a very interesting collection.
Lots of animals to see and take photos of. The personnel know lots about the animals that they are looking after. Great to have the higher viewing platforms to see into the enclosures so you have more chance to see the animals as they rest under trees such as the wolves and big cats.
It was great to read all about the conservation and breeding programmes that the zoo is involved in to help keep these species of animals alive for more people to see and to try and release them into the wild.
There is new enclosures being built as they try and provide excellent care for the animals - good to see a range of different owls in addition to parrots and other birds.
The day got even better - Brilliant and awesome opportunity to see behind the scenes and to get up close and personal with a Big Cat - had a choice of cat to feed and the keeper was very knowledgeable about the animal - highly recommended for all to do - nothing to be scared of as they are very gentle. What a great present to have!!

The 6 of us went here at the weekend. Got lucky with the weather. Arrived early and nice and quiet. Park has been developed since our trip a year ago. Lots of improvement going on. Loved our day out here. Lots to see and do. Boys of 3 and 4 walked it all with some rests. Great coffee watching the Tigers from the restaurant. Nice train ride (£1 each), and day finished with some fun with the magician and balloon man, which the boys really enjoyed. Will definitely return. Great family day out

We went to see the animals, especially the two Sloths. However we didn’t know about the Dinosaur Park. The animals were good to see, the Sloths being very slow as usual!! The Otters were my favourites, very active and we saw one juggling his stone which was good. The Meerkats had cradles in the lamps to hang onto which I’ve never seen before. A lot of the animals were hiding earlier on as the day was cold so good to do this on a sunnier day. The Keepers were really helpful and you could see they loved their jobs. Talked to several and got good information on some of the animals. Then went into the Dinosaur Park........creepy as they were mainly animatronic, very realistic. Wouldn’t like to be there if they came alive. Apparently in two years the Chinese will make them able to walk on their own. Hope they don’t fit AI or we will be dinner!!!! There are several food places around the park and lots of amusements for younger children so a good family day out with youngsters. However in the reptile house they have several massive snakes. One child walked in, took one look and ran out 🤣 so beware!! Not many reptiles there or fish but it is a smaller Zoo but with all the other things there a really good day and I would highly recommend visiting.
